Hello, my name is Blick! I am an extremely active playful older puppy who has been at the County Shelter for 4 months. I would make a great companion for someone who likes adventure and being athletic as I have a good amount of energy and enthusiasm. 🐾ADOPT ELIZA🐾 1 year old female Hound mix

Hi, I’m Eliza. I can be a little more reserved than some of the other dogs you might meet, especially when I’m getting to know someone. Once I warm up, though, I’m a very sweet girl who loves having her people around. I don’t necessarily need to be pressed against you every second to know we’re together—I’m perfectly happy existing nearby and enjoying your company in my own way.

I’m a medium-energy girl who would love a family that can give me a good balance of exercise, enrichment, and quiet time. I do have a bit of an adventurous streak, though, and I’m something of an escape artist, so I’ll need someone who can keep a close eye on me when I’m outside and make sure I’m getting enough appropriate exercise and stimulation. Give me patience, consistency, and a little room to become comfortable, and I think you’ll discover a really lovely companion hiding behind my shy first impression.

🐾ADOPT FRITTER🐾 4 month old male black cat

Fritter is a cute male older kitten who was found as a stray with a broken pelvis. After some down time, healing and TLC at the County Shelter and in a comfy foster home, he is back to kitten business as usual! Very playful, curious and cuddly as most kitties are 🙂 He loves to go full steam and play and he also loves to snuggle - especially head bumps into your face while purring super loudly. His injury may have slowed him down for a bit but by all accounts he is back to normal! Apply today to meet Fritter in his foster home!

Howdy, I’m Otter! I am the cutest little seal brown short female Lab/Pit mix! My unique darker brown coat makes my chocolate brown eyes sparkle. I am younger and have that playful energetic side to me but my manners are pretty good! I love to be around people and I’m very interested in potentially playing with other dogs and kiddos. I am smart and eager to please - I already know some tricks! I am a great smaller to medium size pup who would make an excellent companion to young person or couple or even an entire family. I just want to find my forever home where I can play, cuddle and be loved.

Hi, I’m Suki! I’m a super playful, smart girl with a bit of a quirky side that comes out once I know you’re my person. I can be a little wary of strangers at first, so I may need some time to decide that you’re okay. But once I trust you, you’ll get to see the real me—and I’m a wonderfully weird little girl! I love attention from my people and especially enjoy anything that gives my brain something to work on.

Puzzle toys, mental games, and learning new things are right up my alley. I’m happiest when I’m thinking, playing, and figuring out how things work. I’d do best in a home with older kids who understand that I need a little time to warm up, and I’m somewhat selective about my canine friends. If you’re looking for a smart, playful companion with a big personality hiding behind a shy first impression, I might be your girl.
