🚨 Meet the newest pup to our board and train program! This is miss Coco, she's a 2 year old German Shepherd! She is a wild girl that loves to please and will gladly accept any treats that come her way! 🐾

Coco is with us for a 6 week behavior modification stay! Coco will be working through human reactivity and building confidence around strangers so she and her mom can gain confidence back in their walks!

Introducing the cutest little fluffball ever, Derby!

I'm thrilled to welcome this sweet boy to our private in-home lessons. Derby is 12 weeks and is currently working on his foundational skills in the comfort of home!

We believe the first foundations such as desensitizing grooming, introducing new surfaces, and building engagement all set our puppies up for success in obedience later!!

Today we're working on tethering, an essential skill that helps young dogs learn the art of doing nothing.

🚨 Meet the newest pup to our board and train program! This is Trixie, she's a 2 year old Golden Doodle! How can you resist that teddy bear face, so cute!! 🐾

Trixie will be staying with us during the week days for 6 weeks. We're focusing heavily on e-collar introduction and reliable obedience in public settings!

Kip will be with us for 4 weeks, working through fear reactivity towards other dogs!

The truth about behavioral training: It is rarely a straight line. 📉🐾

This is Oslo, and his journey has been anything but simple.

When we first started, Oslo’s relationship with the crate was one of total panic. His anxiety was out of hand, he was vocalizing, distressed, and even physically breaking out of secure kennels. His nervous system was stuck in fight-or-flight mode.

The last two photos represent huge MONUMENTAL wins.

**How we got to this milestone:**
1️⃣ We built fair and consistent boundaries and expectations around kennel
2️⃣ Added positive, low-pressure associations with confinement
3️⃣ We helped him process his stress, rather than avoid it

Is Oslo 'cured'? No. We are still working through struggles. Behavioral work is a marathon, not a sprint. But the fact that he can find restful sleep in his space is a massive, life-changing success.

If your dog is struggling with complex anxiety, don’t give up on them. Focus on the small, quiet wins, not the perfect finish line.
