I’d like to give a LOVING🌹shout out to our front-line, Cari!!! She works SO hard at everything she does for this company, clients, & sitters. She treats LITL as if it were her own.

Owning a business and helping someone run their business is beyond stressful! Yes it’s rewarding but IT NEVER STOPS! People only get a glimpse of the finished product but all the pieces, tasks, time, money, stressors, & organization it takes behind the scenes for any business would make your head swirl😵‍💫

I will not give in to urgency culture. We are not a company like Rover, we are a PART-TIME business w/multiple sitters who have other jobs & obligations to tend to daily as well. When we get a job request we have at least 6 ahead. We want to give each client 100% when we are working on their job. It takes time for sitters to respond & so forth. Our timeline of 48 hours is very fair & appropriate for the time, money, & resources we have.

Did you know owning a business does not mean or guarantee you make a lot money either. A lot of people seem to think that about businesses. Many like myself do it for the love and passion of what our business involves 🐾🐾 I really love connecting with other business owners because it’s very validating to talk about these issues and subjects related to business ownership. Brooke will always have an extra special place in my heart because she was my assistant for a few years on top of being a bad-ass pet-sitter!! I am SOOO happy it’s that time of year again!!! I have been a licensed Social Worker for 19 years now🎉💜 For my main business, I own & operate a talk-therapy, mental health practice. Last year I started incorporating “Walk & Talk therapy”! Yes, it is legal & more therapists are doing it for all the benefits it includes! There is a waiver that is signed 📝 I have kids and adults that love participating in it!

Today was my first one of the year with a pet! I let client’s bring their dog to walk with us too if they are well-behaved walkers! I love that I can combine both of my passions together at times! This cutie was such angel! TY to his Mama for brightening my day w/him❣️We all felt so much better after a walk, sunshine, & nature 🌿
