Important Notice: Coyote Sightings

We wanted to make the community aware that we have recently spotted a pair of coyotes hanging around our clinic property.

Our team is doing everything we can to discourage the coyotes from returning to the property. We have also contacted the appropriate officials, but unfortunately, further action is limited at this time.

If you visit the clinic and happen to spot a coyote, please:
🐾 Stay inside your vehicle and give us a call to let us know.
🐾 Do not approach, feed, or attempt to interact with the coyote.
🐾 Keep your pets close and supervised while entering or leaving the clinic.

We understand that these sightings can be unsettling, and we are taking the situation seriously. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work through this.

National Pet Obesity Awareness Day is a great reminder that maintaining a healthy weight can support your pet’s mobility, comfort, and overall quality of life.

Do you know your pet’s Body Condition Score (BCS)?

Here are three simple things to check:
• Feel the ribs: Can you feel them beneath a thin layer of fat?
• Look for a waist: Is there a visible waist behind the ribs when viewed from above?
• Check the tummy: Does the abdomen tuck upward when viewed from the side?

Every pet is unique, and breed, age, and body shape matter. These checks are a helpful starting point, our veterinary team can help determine your pet’s ideal body condition and create a plan tailored to their needs.
