She is sweet, curious, and active (though she can be a little shy at first!) We have been having so much fun taking care of her! We are so sorry to hear about our friend Riley. Thank you for your service.

Since 2013, Captain Howard Orr and Riley responded to over 60 calls for service as an Arson Dog throughout the Tri-Counties fire agencies, including as far as Coalinga.

Sadly, after 7 years of dedicated service, Riley was put down this week because a brain tumor after being diagnosed in April 2020.

Riley was instrumental in putting approximately a dozen arsonist in jail. Of the 60 calls for service, 40 were confirmed accelerants.

Riley was 1 of only 4 accelerant canines in California from the State Farm Insurance Arson Dog Program.

Wendy can’t pick her favorite animal because she just loves them all! At home she has 2 dogs that she rescued from our local @cold_noses_warm_hearts_sb rescue. A fun fact about Wendy is that she enjoys playing the guitar. She even played balalaika in a balalaika orchestra! That completes our team here at Pet House.
