It is with a very heavy heart that we make this post. We received word from one of our clients that one of our most beloved fur babies has crossed the rainbow bridge. 😭 We met Pepper when we took over the business a year ago. She’s been such great girl and has had so much fun with us. Pepper Doodle was always happy and the life of the party. Our hearts break for Pepper and her family. Please keep them in your thoughts. Rest in peace Pepper 💔

Little Pixie!

This little sweetie / spitfire is still here and is going on 6 months at our shelter. We can’t understand why.

Pixie…

🐱 loves all cats and humans
🐱 high energy and loves to play with toys, wrestle with cats, and run around
🐱 gives the best kisses and will nibble on your hands
❌ cannot be around dogs. She was attacked by one and almost died.
🐱 she is 5 pounds of fun at 1-years- old!
🐱 she is spayed, microchipped and vaccinated

She needs to leave our shelter and go into a home where she can run, play and have all the love she deserves!

We don’t want her to loose her spark, her happiness, her s***k. Being at the shelter for so long, they start shutting down little by little.

HIRE A WORKING CAT!
It doesn’t happen often, but sometimes the cats we help just prefer a life outdoors.
We have a handful of kitties that have come in as strays and have enjoyed their free healthcare and gourmet meals. But they’ve let us know they have no desire to be an indoor house cat and long for the life they once had.
Current HMAS working cats are NOT feral, but humans are only friends when it comes to meal time.
NOTE: Working cats require proper acclimation to learn where their new home is.
They should be confined to a space for
🌟two to four weeks🌟.
Feed them twice daily so they associate their new home with food. It also helps to adopt in pairs! No one likes to be alone.
After the appropriate acclimation period, a regular food source should still be provided. Don’t worry! They will still hunt!
Do you have a garage, shop or barn and the ability to provide regular food, water and shelter? Ask us about hiring a working cat!
