Hello! My name is Maynard!

I am a male 5 year old mixed breed. I was SUPER shy and scared when I was brought to the shelter but I have really come out of my shell. I love to be outside! Whether I’m going for a walk or just hanging out in the yard, I’m happy. I have gotten along with some of the other dogs at the shelter! I am very affectionate and love getting attention! I am a really picky eater but I would probably do well with free-feeding. I keep my kennel clean! I’m not very toy motivated but that could change once I’m in a home and feel comfortable.

Broozer is off his stray hold and ready for his new home!!

Hello! My name is Broozer!

You may have seen some posts about me a little bit ago. I was the dog that was left in the small pet carrier between Townline road and Hwy 11 near Cherry. Some nice people noticed me and brought me to the Mesabi Humane Society. I am a 3 year old male mixed breed. I was very shy and scared at first but I have really started to come out of my shell! I LOVE to go outside and sniff EVERYTHING! I’m not toy motivated right now, but in the right home, I might feel more comfortable to play. Going for walks is my favorite thing to do! I am a lap dog! If you sit, I want to sit on your lap and give you kisses! I also love to get belly rubs! I keep my kennel clean. I need to lose a little bit more weight but have made some good progress already. I have been vet checked and am up to date on my vaccinations.

Hello! My name is Ivy!

I am a 3.5 year old female Domestic Short Hair cat. I am a social kitty who loves to talk! Sometimes I will play with toys that jingle but I’m not the most playful cat. I LOVE attention! I’m not a fan of being picked up and held but I would love to sit in your lap and snuggle! I would do best as the only cat in the house. I have been spayed.
