We would like to shout out the veterinary technicians from each of our 4 locations that completed their Recover Rescuer Certifications last week! (pictured: Evan, Sydney, Erika, & Sabrina)

This certification provides our teams with the technical & team communication skills needed to conduct advanced life support & respond to cardiac arrest should our patients experience it while in our care. We are so proud of this team for mastering these life-saving skills! 🤩

Everyone help us wish Dr. Forker and her fiancé well as they plan to make their move to North Carolina! Dr. Forker’s care & advocacy for her patients has been second to none during her time with us, exemplified by the numerous pets’ lives she has saved.

From Dr. Forker: “It’s been an honor serving the Gainesville and Newberry communities and I thank everyone for allowing me to be a part of their fur babies’s care. While it is bittersweet to be moving, it eases my heart to know that all my lovely clients and patients will be in the best hands possible with the rest of my Newberry Animal Hospital family!”

While we are sad to see her go, we are excited to see the positive impact Dr. Forker will have at her new hospital! Come wish her well before her last day on June 23rd! 💙💚

The doors to Newberry Animal Hospital first opened in 1990. Since that moment, we’ve made it our mission to inspire and nurture the human spirit by serving animal health. At our spacious 39th Avenue clinic, our friendly team welcomes pet patients in need of medical, dental, surgical, or emergency care -- not to mention a range of specialty services, from X-ray imaging and microchipping to boarding and bathing. We believe comprehensive care is essential to ensuring your pet lives their longest, healthiest, and happiest life.
