Around here, we feed the animals, love God’s little creatures, mind our business, and enjoy the simple things in life. ❤️🌿

Some people chase drama. I chase a squirrel around trying to figure out what she wants for dinner! 😂

🐈‍⬛🍂 Cold Nights Are Coming! The Cat Motel Is OPEN! 🏡♻️❤️

Temperatures are dropping into the low 50s, so it’s time to make sure our farm kitties have a cozy place to escape the chilly nights!

We already have FOUR cat houses that we purchased new and placed around our 10-acre farm, including up front. But with so many cats, I wanted to make something BIGGER!

So what did I do? Used what I already had lying around the farm! 😂♻️

This temporary shelter gives several cats room to snuggle together and share their body heat. And for the ones who don’t feel like sharing a room? Well, they can head over to one of the smaller cat houses!

Around here, everyone gets a choice! 🐾❤️

One thing I love about farm life is learning to make use of what you already have.

❤️ Not everything has to be NEW to be USEFUL!

Sometimes all it takes is a little creativity, some recycled materials, and a whole lot of love.

And that’s why I share these things! Maybe my little project will give someone an idea, and maybe YOU have a better way of doing something that I can learn from!

We can teach each other, save money, reduce waste, and help animals along the way! 🌻

Now, whether these cats appreciate their new accommodations or file a complaint with management is another story! 😂🐈‍⬛

The rent is FREE, meals are included, and apparently I’m the maid!

🐈 WHAT DO MY CATS HAVE NOW?! 👀🤣

Just another day on the farm, minding my own business, when I catch my cats up to something AGAIN!

Of course, I had to ask… “Oh, what you got now?!” 😳

Let’s just say their little discovery was NOT happy about being the center of attention! Things got a little heated, and somebody was ready to fight back! 😂

At this point, I think my full-time job is rescuing innocent creatures from the jaws of my farm cats! 🐾

But here’s the million-dollar question…

Did I save this little fella, or did my cats win this round? 🤔👀

Guess you’ll have to stick around to find out! 🤣

🐿️🥭 WELCOME TO MANGO’S WORLD! 👑💅🤣

Where the rent is FREE, room service is 24/7, and the landlord (ME!) has absolutely NO authority! 😂

Mango’s daily schedule consists of chewing everything in sight, bossing her mother around, hiding nuts like she’s preparing for the apocalypse, and completely DESTROYING her luxury penthouse! 🏡🤣

She’s got TWO rooms, a loft, a bathtub, a cozy bed, and even her own Halloween decorations! 🎃

And don’t even THINK about snuggling her for too long! This little diva will have her lawyer on speed dial! ⚖️🐿️

Honestly, I’m surprised she hasn’t filed a complaint with HR for excessive cuddling and unauthorized kisses! 🤣💋

I’m not raising a squirrel anymore. I’m employed by one! Apparently, I’m the maid, chef, maintenance department, and personal assistant!

And the benefits? ZERO! Unless you count squirrel kisses and occasional emotional damage! 😂❤️

Well, I’m not liking this one bit! 🌀🤬

I was JUST talking to a friend about how we’ve been lucky with no hurricanes! She said, “Well, we went and talked it up!”

GIRL!!! WHY DID WE OPEN OUR MOUTHS?! 😭😂

Right now, the farm is in the clear! 🙏 But if this hurricane decides to make a little curve because of that cold front, we might have an uninvited guest!

And let me tell you something, Mother Nature! I have enough animals to feed, chickens to chase, cats to wrangle, and a squirrel running the household! I DO NOT have room for your drama! 🐓🐈🐿️🤣

So, Mr Hurricane, keep your attitude, your wind, and your nonsense out in the Gulf!

Big sigh! 😩

Anybody else watching this thing like a chicken watching a hawk?! 👀🌀
