Every week, we’re featuring 10 incredible adoptables who are still waiting for loving homes. One of them could be the companion you’ve been looking for!

We are just 14 adoptions away from reaching our Clear the Shelters goal of 100 adoptions this August, and this is the final weekend to make it happen.

It’s also your last chance to take advantage of $50 adoption fees for all dogs, cats, puppies, and kittens through the end of August.

We’re getting so close to our Clear the Shelters goal!

We’re thrilled to share that 37 dogs and cats recently found their forever homes, with most of those happy endings happening during Rescue Fest!

That brings us to 86 adoptions for the month of August, which means we are just 14 adoptions away from reaching our goal of 100 before the end of the month.

We believe we can get there, but we need your help! Please spread the word, share our adoptable pets, and encourage anyone looking for a new companion to visit Valley Animal Center.

Help us reach 100 and give even more deserving dogs and cats the chance to finally go home.

Special Happy Tails Highlight: Earlier this year, Daisy was still waiting for someone to see just how much love and personality she had to give.

This energetic Shepherd mix needed a home that would embrace her playful spirit, endless energy, and love for adventure. Then, someone did.

Daisy was adopted, and today, at 5 years old, she is thriving in her new home. She is loved, active, and finally living the life we always hoped she would find.

Updates like Daisy’s remind us why we never stop hoping for the animals still waiting.
As Clear the Shelters continues through the end of August, there are still dogs and cats dreaming of the same thing Daisy found: someone to choose them.

Pet dentals are available again at Valley Animal Center! If you can’t remember the last time your dog or cat had a dental exam, now is a great time to get their teeth checked.
