Hey guys just a small announcement here!
After lots of hard contemplating and back n forth, we have decided to not allow in person picks or visits. In the past I have allowed people to come and pick out their pups and visit with them BUT due to the fact that we have so many babies this time around, I do not feel comfortable allowing visitors. These guys have no immunity yet and are extremely susceptible to sickness and diseases. Parvo is a huge one and can be tracked in even on people's shoes etc. I understand how this may affect people's decisions on getting a puppy from us and I apologize to those who are upset about this decision. I do acknowledge that people want to see their pups in person beforehand or when picking out etc. But it is just not worth the risk for us. I will try to be accommodating and can do video chats etc. Plus I usually try to get pics or videos of pups up at least once a week!
I did run this past multiple vets at our clinic and they all said they would not risk it or if it was them it'd be an absolutely not, I've also unfortunately heard horror stories myself of other breeders losing whole litters from Parvo including a close friend of mine. I feel as a breeder you hear about it but it hasn't happened to me personally yet so I've allowed visits but then again I'm sure the breeders it has happened to also never thought it would happen to them either.
Again I'm very sorry if this upsets anyone or changes their mind on getting a pup from us but it just isn't worth the risk especially with 3 litters in our home right now.
Thank you for your understanding!
