Linus is proof that second chances can look pretty adorable. ❤️

Not long ago, this little guy was facing abandonment and malnourishment. Since arriving at MAS, he's come so far in his recovery, gaining strength, confidence, and discovering just how much fun life can be.

These days, Linus is busy perfecting his goofy expressions, collecting toys, and making everyone around him smile. His playful personality is blossoming more every day, and he's ready to share it with a family of his own.

Now, all he needs is someone willing to give him the fresh start he deserves.

🎉⛳ Hi everyone!

The golf outing is officially just TWO WEEKS AWAY! 🐾

Last year, we thought we had reached an all-time record with 87 players. Well, hold onto your golf carts because we're absolutely over the moon to share that this year, we have 112 players registered! 🤩

That is simply incredible, and we couldn't be more grateful for the amazing support from our community. Every golfer, sponsor, donor, and supporter is helping make a difference for the dogs at Mackenzie's Animal Sanctuary.

We can't wait to see everyone on the course for a day filled with golf, fun, and plenty of tail-wagging impact! 🐶⛳❤️

A HUGE thank you to all of the kids and adults who participated in the Dorr Dance Academy Coin War and raised almost $2,000 to help support the dogs at Mackenzie’s Animal Sanctuary! 🎉🐾

Not only did they raise an incredible amount through the coin war, but they also filled a donation bin with so many yummy treats for the dogs. We are beyond grateful for their generosity and support.

A special thank you to Michelle Spillman for sharing her love and compassion for dogs with all of her students and their families. Your kindness is making a real difference in the lives of the dogs in our care, and we couldn't be more thankful. ❤️🐶

☀️🐾 Pupdate Time with Soleil! 🐾☀️

It's been about a month and a half since Crumpet (now Soleil) headed off to his happily-ever-after with his new mom, and we're thrilled to report that he's settling into his new life beautifully. ❤️

Now, about that adorable photo of him peacefully smelling a flower... according to his mom, that moment was pure luck. 🌼😂

Stopping to smell the roses? Not exactly Soleil's style.

This sunny little guy prefers exploring downtown, checking out local parks, soaking up the sights, and keeping a close eye on absolutely everything happening within a 100-yard radius. 👀 Bikes, scooters, unfamiliar dogs? Soleil is still convinced it's his job to let the world know when something seems suspicious.

At home, though, it's a different story. His favorite things include cozy blankets, massages, and having a quiet home all to himself. 🛋️💛 The same dog who can be a little spicy and opinionated out on adventures is also incredibly cuddly, curious, and sweet. ☀️🐾

We're so happy to see Soleil thriving, exploring, and living the life he was always meant to have. ❤️

Ant Man is starting his morning shift in the most important job he has: professional snuggle supervisor.

You’ll find him posted up on his dog bed in the kitchen like: “Coffee for you, and forehead kisses for me, please.” ☕🐶

Usually, Ant Man is a little more enthusiastic about sharing his affection. This morning, though, he's taking a brief break from his happy wiggles and people-loving duties to soak up a few quiet moments.

If your first thought was, "I would absolutely sit on the floor and cuddle that dog," then you're exactly his type!

Caoimhe (formerly Maldives) and Kuno (formerly Zanzibar) checked in with some exciting news!

✅ First vet visit
✅ Vaccine boosters
✅ Growing fast (23 lbs and 28 lbs!)
✅ Crate training superstars
✅ House-training success

Kuno decided that being buckled into the backseat was beneath him and managed to loosen his seatbelt in an attempt to become a front-seat passenger. 🚗😂

These two are settling into their new life beautifully! We're so proud of how far they've come and love seeing them blossom in their home. ❤️
