We have some sad, but very exciting news to share with everyone.
One of our lovely Daycare Supervisors, Heather, will be leaving our team at the end of this week.
Heather has been with us for almost 5 years, she started as a CSR but ultimately found that the right place for her was as a Daycare Supervisor, watching over all of your pups everyday. She is now headed to Mary Washington, where we know she will excel and change the lives of everyone she meets, just like she has done here.
She has been a wonderful addition to our staff and has made such an impact on the lives of so many pups and their owners. Heather said she will miss all the kind and sweet faces that she sees everyday, especially the furry ones!🐾❤️

Did you know there is an 'Ugliest Dog Day'? Well today is that day!
Our staff voted and we would like you to meet our ugliest staff pet, Biscuit!
The adorable underbite, lowrider stance, and crazy fur are what check the boxes for this pups winning title of "He's So Ugly, He's Cute!"🏆
Biscuit will be receiving a first place prize for his unfortunate genes, although we're sure he doesn't even know he has them!🥇🐾

Happy 1 Year Anniversary to Dr. Hughes!🌟
She has officially been at our practice for one whole year and we couldn't be happier! She has made quite the impact on our staff and clients in such a positive way.

CALLIE!💫

Callie is a Licensed Veterinary Technician, and has been working at Tidewater Trail Animal Hospital for 13 years!
Her favorite experience over the years has been “being able to bond with the animals and gain their trust. It is rewarding and meaningful to me when a dog or cat is very nervous at the vet, and I am able to earn their trust and make the whole visit a better experience for them.”
Fun fact! Callie used to help her dad work on cars!
Her current obsession is real crime podcasts and shows.

Tidewater Trail Animal Hospital and Doggie Daycare will be closed Tuesday 6/9 12:00pm -1:00pm, for a Staff Meeting.
We have previously been open for our Staff Meetings, however, due to wanting all of our staff present for the important things we touch on, we are now going to be closed for a brief period of time.
During this brief closure we will not be answering phones or admitting/discharging patients, boarding, or daycare participants.
We want to thank everyone in advance for your understanding!🐾

In honor of National Pet Month, we want to do a Saturday Staff Pet Spotlight!🌟
Today's spotlight will be on Tim’s Labrador Retriever. Jason is a wonderful pup, helping his dad with training and showering his puppy friends with love! It’s always great seeing him on PACC walks, you can tell he is absolutely loving life!🐾💖

We are so excited to reintroduce someone you've known and loved for quite a while! Someone who does your intake and discharge for drop offs/surgeries, who starts your appointments and listens to all your concerns before the doctor comes in, and who helps treat all your beloved pets.🐶🐱

Callie has officially become a Licensed Veterinary Technician!🩺
She took her Veterinary Technician National Exam earlier this week and passed with flying colors! We couldn't be more proud of her and everything she has accomplished this far, and we definitely can't wait to see where she goes from here!
