THANK YOU Taylorsville Veterinary Clinic!! 💖💖

We asked for donations that can help our friends at Street Dog Coalition Frederick MD, and wow!!! did they deliver. We're overwhelmed and so incredibly appreciative. Thank you.

**and also, Happy Halloween! 🎃 🐈‍⬛🐕🐆
A black cat, leopard, and Golden Retriever were also Dr Mundy's team today. 🧡🐾🖤

We're talking about spectrum of care again. ❤️‍🩹🐾❤️
Even in surgical emergencies, there are often several different options for care.
•
•
Referral centers are big hospitals with ICUs, tons of advanced equipment, and skilled doctors and technicians who care for patients 24-7, including at night and on the weekend when the rest of us are not working. All of this is understandably expensive.
•
•
Emergency procedures can often also be done in a more basic setting, and this is spectrum of care. It means that several options often exist, and that pet parents need to be able to choose the treatment plan that's best for them. It's often possible to help pets who need an emergency procedure but are limited by the cost.
•
•
Good outcomes are possible with outpatient treatment for GI foreign body, splenectomy, pyometra, and urethral obstruction. ❤️‍🩹🐾❤️

Sharpie update! 🖤🐾🐈‍⬛
He's cute and spicey and looking for a home. Add him to the long list of cats & kittens saved by Mt Airy Animal Hospital. 🖤🖤🖤

We had such a fun afternoon talking about surgery with the Mt Airy Animal Hospital team. Lunch & learns are the best! 😊

We have waited so long for this, and it did not disappoint! 🥳🐾💖

CONGRATS to Lakehouse Veterinary and THANK YOU for inviting us into your beautiful new hospital.

So many familiar faces in this group pic, and beyond words how special it was to work together again. 💛🐾💖

Peep Nora--we miss her very much at Mobile Veterinary Surgery but couldn't possibly be happier to see her at Lakehouse. And Sabrina, who's our original recruiter and top tier friend & vet (but we miss Emily and wish she & Sawyer could have stopped by also...)💕

Congrats Dr Kemper for bringing together this amazing team. We are so very excited to work with you.
..and let's remember the magic of , which brought us together in the first place. Look how much the knee's alignment changes with the procedure. It's this dynamic stability that so reliably helps dogs return to comfortable, active function after . 💛🦿❤️

Friday Eve was the best this week!
We stayed pretty close to home and worked with some of our favorite people. It feels like coming home on days like these, and having such close relationships with our practices lets us level up the care our patients receive. 💛🐾❤️

We were there for but got to check in on Poppy, who supervises Mount Airy Animal Hospital from behind the front desk--peep those pretty nostrils! She's a poster child for BOAS surgery, which we recommend for all of our flat-faced friends.

ALSO--send strong healing thoughts to little Sharpie. ❤️🐈‍⬛❤️‍🩹
Mount Airy Animal Hospital does so much good work saving cats and kittens that people know about it. This kitten was found in a parking lot by a pool crew, and he's so small and cold that he's having a tough time. 🐈‍⬛❤️‍🩹🖤

If it's Wednesday, there's a good chance we're heading to Jarrettsville Vet Center. 😁🐾💛

We're at Jarrettsville Veterinary Center two Wednesdays per month, most often for . On this day, we had two cases and a bilateral a**l sacculectomy procedure. A**l sacs aren't needed, and so when they start to cause trouble of any kind, we recommend removing them.

Our patients were *so cute,* which we say often, and we mean it every time. Thanks Danielle Keys AS ALWAYS for all you do to take care of every patient and make us look forward to our JVC days. 💛🐾❤️

Monday at Northwest Animal Hospital! 😊💛❤️

Dr Crowl & Dr Taylor's hospital is another of our favorite places to be, and we were so glad to bookend our weekend with Friday and Monday mornings there.

As if things could even get better when we're already in the Northwind Animal Hospital OR with Laura Jean Miller--and then Stephanie turned up! 😊💛❤️

One of the joys of mobile life is running into friends on the road. Stephanie does mobile ultrasounds with Intrapet, and she happened to be at Northwind at the same time we were doing surgery there.

We ♥️our veterinary community. 😊
