Dr. McConnell has been such a vital part of our team over the past 10+ years, providing his patients with top-notch internal medicine support. We're going to greatly miss his presence, but know that he'll be enjoying the additional time spent with his family (cats included!), composing music, and practicing Tai Chi. Congratulations Dr. McConnell! 🎉 We hope that your retirement is as great as you have been to us, and your patients.

Sometimes our pets just need an extra boost to help them recover, or to relieve pain. Surgical recovery, mobility decline, joint pain, and more can all be managed through rehab treatment. Each of our patients receives a customized treatment plan so that their therapy is fully tailored to their needs.

This sweet girl’s name is Libby; she’s a patient with both the Oncology and Internal Medicine services here at CARE. During her most recent visit, we got an updated series of x-rays to help monitor her suspected thyroid carcinoma. After her x-rays, Libby took a well-deserved afternoon snooze before her departure. Dr. Olson said it best, “she is crushing the game!” 😊

You may have heard of Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) used in human medicine, but did you know it's used in veterinary medicine too?

Check out our Clumber Spaniel friend, Cooper, during one of his HBOT sessions to heal his wound from split paw pad disease. While he may look like he's in a spaceship, this is a pressurized chamber that increases oxygen saturation in blood plasma. High oxygen levels fight infections, rapidly reduce inflammation, and promote rapid tissue regeneration—all of which accelerate healing.

Congratulations to Dr. McConnell on his retirement! Although we'll miss him being a part of our team, his retirement is well-deserved after all of the dedication he has put into veterinary medicine over the years. His last day will be Wednesday, June 10, 2026. 🩺🐾

Another day of celebrating our incredible reception team during Veterinary Receptionist Recognition Week! 🌼

We took a little time away from the front desk to relax, paint some flower pots, sip on our favorite drinks from Starbies, and just enjoy each other’s company—and it was exactly what we needed. 🌱🎨 With our leadership team joining in and everyone’s unique creations on display, it was full of laughs, creativity, and great conversation, and it reminded us just how special this team is.

Our reception team is the heart of what we do, and we’re so grateful for the amazing vibes they bring to both our clients and our crew. 💛

Our amazing CSRs showed up in pink and ran the front like the pros they are 💕
Surgery rolled in strong in purple 💜
And Oncology? In all black… and giving serious ninja energy 🖤🥷

Phones were ringing, tails were wagging, and somehow our reception team still kept everything running smoothly. We may have had a little friendly color rivalry, but one thing’s not up for debate—our CSRs are MVPs every single day.
