Each year several people reach out asking what we do with our left over pumpkins. Some ask for them to feed pigs, chickens, goats or other projects.

We mostly compost them or use them for seed. We do have this trough of leftover pie pumpkins and random gourds available at the entrance of the patch. These small pie pumpkins are what you can use for cooking.

Take what you want and pay what you want (put your money in the box)- they will be there until they’re gone or the squirrels eat them all. 🐿️

🎃 End of Season Pumpkin Sale! 🎃

It’s hard to believe, but pumpkin season is almost over! 🍂 To wrap things up, we’re having an Armload Sale! Anything you can carry in your arms is just $15!

Big ones, small ones, funky-shaped ones… if you can hold it, it’s yours. 😄

Do you ever wonder how the patch gets filled with pumpkins? Here is a little snapshot. One side by side at a time. Sometimes in the early mornings and sometimes in the late evenings. It’s usually a family affair. 🥰🎃🧡

🎃🍂 It’s *finally* October! The month we’ve all been waiting for! The pumpkins are ready, the mums are blooming, and the weather is perfect for a cozy fall afternoon.

🎃✨ It’s officially pumpkin season, and we are open sunrise to sunset every single day!

We’re not a giant commercial attraction with wristbands and long lines—we’re just a family growing pumpkins behind our house, and we’d love to share them with you. Come grab a pumpkin (or five), snag a mum for your porch, and hang out for a while. 🌾

Kids can climb a hay bale, dig in the bean bin, or play a couple of our little yard games while you soak up some fresh fall air. Families bring coffee, and just enjoy the vibe—it’s kind of like a low-key fall picnic but with bonus pumpkins.

It’s all honor system here, so grab what you love and drop your cash in the box. Simple, wholesome, and a little old-school. 🧡

Rain, rain, go away..

Today is opening day at the patch! 🎃🎃
We will be open every day until Halloween from sunrise to sunset.

Our address is 109 W 2nd St, Franklin, KS 66735.

We have several varities of pumpkins and gourds to choose from. We will also have straw hay bales and corn stalks but we are waiting until after the rain to set them out.

Our mum selection is also top notch this year!

Our family is so grateful for the support from our community every fall with the patch. We appreciate every like and share that helps us spread the word. 🧡

We hope you’re as ready for pumpkin season as we are! 🎃🍁🍂

Opening day will be this Saturday, September 20th! We will have mums, pumpkins of all shapes and sizes, corn stalks and square hay bales. More pictures coming soon!
