When a woman fell during a trail ride and broke her ankle, the stallion Stormoak didn’t run home.

He stood guard.

Through the night.
Through the cold.
Through strange forest sounds.

Whenever she drifted off, he nudged her awake — keeping her conscious until search crews arrived.

When rescuers tried leading him away, he refused to move until she was lifted onto the stretcher.

Some horses don’t just carry riders.

They carry lives.🌲❤️🐴
