- NWS Prevention, like Nexgard or Credelio.
- A current Rabies vaccine & certificate.

- You will need another NWS Inspection Form, completed by an authorized veterinarian in Mexico.

🥳 High Country Humane Highlight! 🥳

Meet Kendrick, a 2 year old, 55lbs bundle of love who's ready to become your next adventure buddy. Playful, affectionate, and incredibly smart, Kendrick is happiest when he's out on a walk, exploring a hiking trail, or playing with his favorite little fish toy before curling up beside you for a cozy TV night.

Kendrick already knows "sit," "shake," and even how to catch treats in midair! He's an excellent listener with the people he trusts, is pretty much potty trained, and continues to make great progress every day. Car rides can still be a little scary for him, but with patience and encouragement, his confidence keeps growing.

His previous foster described him as one of the most amazing dogs they've ever had, and it's easy to understand why. Kendrick is goofy, loyal, eager to please, and has so much love to give. He's simply looking for a family to share it with.

Kendrick is available for adoption and is also looking for a foster home to help him take a break from kennel life. If you can open your home to this wonderful boy, please contact [email protected]. He can't wait to meet his forever family.

🍄🌧 Mushroom Season is here! 🌧🍄
With the monsoon rains, the wild mushrooms have arrived! While many of these are harmless, there are quite a few that are 𝐕𝐄𝐑𝐘 𝐃𝐀𝐍𝐆𝐄𝐑𝐎𝐔𝐒 to our pets, and some can even lead to liver failure and death.

Please keep an eye out on walks/hikes, and if you find any in your yard, dispose of them safely. 𝐈𝐟 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐬𝐮𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐩𝐞𝐭 𝐦𝐚𝐲 𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐚 𝐦𝐮𝐬𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐨𝐦, 𝐝𝐨𝐧'𝐭 "𝐰𝐚𝐢𝐭 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐬𝐞𝐞." It's important to treat mushroom toxicity as quickly as possible.

The newest member of the Midtown family, Yakshini!

This tiny tot traveled alllll the way from Nebraska to join the family of our technician, Bird, and she has proven to be a bossy little spitfire. She's still very young, so she gets to come to work with Bird every day for socialization (and snacks!), and it's safe to say we've all fallen a little bit in love. 🥰
