July 1st marked the day our adoption fees and Catfé Lounge admission went up in price. It was a difficult decision, but in order for us to continue giving cats a chance at a happy and healthy life it was necessary. The cost of everything has risen including veterinary care, cat food & litter, utilities—the list goes on. But we know that you are feeling the pinch as well. So we have a special offer beginning July 4th through the end of the month!

🎁 Anyone who makes a $50 donation on our website or in person in the month of July will receive a $75 gift card!

Just type "gift card" in the “Additional Information” box of the donation form. Want it mailed? Add your address. Want it sent to another cat lover? Include their name and address and we’ll take care of the rest!

This gift card can be used in-person at Catfé Lounge for:

🎨 Attention humans with opposable thumbs! 🐱

So apparently you people are coming to MY lounge to do something called "crafting" and frankly, I'm intrigued.

Look, I've been watching you humans try to create things and honestly? You could use some help. Lucky for you, I'm an expert at quality control. I can tell you immediately if your yarn choice is acceptable (by batting at it), if your paper needs more texture (by walking across it with slightly damp paws), and whether your project has proper weight distribution (by sitting on it).

My roommates here are pretty good supervisors too. That Drama Queen over there has strong opinions about ribbon arrangement. We're basically your personal assistants, except we work for treats and chin scratches.

The humans who run this place say you'll be "crafting" while we provide "inspiration." What they really mean is we'll be doing most of the work while you get the credit. But we're hoping one of you will be so impressed by our artistic vision that you'll take us home to be your permanent creative consultant.
Just remember - anything that hits the floor is automatically ours. Those are the rules.

Our amazing volunteers have been capturing the real moments at Catfé Lounge, and honestly? These cats have figured out the good life! ☕✨

We're writing to you today with thoughtful consideration and hopeful spirits. Like so many small businesses and nonprofits, we're facing the reality that the cost of... well, EVERYTHING has gone up significantly.

🐾 Here's the thing: Every single day, we pour our hearts (and wallets) into giving these precious souls the best possible care. From premium food and litter to life-saving medical treatments, toys that bring joy, and the countless hours of love our volunteers and staff provides - it all adds up.

📅 Starting July 1st, 2025, we're adjusting our prices:

Adoption Fees:
🐱 1 kitten: $200
🐱 2 kittens: $350 (because bonded pairs are magical!)
🐱 1 adult cat: $175
🐱 2 adult cats: $300 (double the love!)

Catfé Lounge:
☕ $18/hour during weekdays
👶 Special kids' discounts coming soon!

But here's what hasn't changed: Our unwavering commitment to being a NO-KILL shelter. Our promise that every adoption fee goes directly back into caring for more cats in need. Our dedication to matching you with your perfect feline companion.
