Tomorrow (Sunday) Help Us, Help Them Dog Rescue is hosting our final “Adopt A Mushroom, Save A Pup” pop-up of the year… and it’s your only chance to shop these magical creations in person until summer 2026.

We’ve created 100+ one-of-a-kind cement mushrooms — hand-poured, glittered or painted, and sealed to survive all four Michigan seasons. 🌧️❄️☀️
Each one comes with a name, backstory, and enchanting personality.
(Yes — your mushroom gets a Gotcha Day photo too. 📸✨)

All funds collected are considered donations that directly support Help Us Help Them Dog Rescue — we are not running a business or operating retail sales. These adoption fees help fund food, medical care, outreach, and trapping efforts for dogs in need.

Our adoptable sweetheart Charlie will be joining us as our guest of honor — handing out hugs and kisses like there’s no tomorrow. Feel free to bring your own pups to say hello!
(All dogs must be human-, kid-, and dog-friendly, and must remain on leash at all times.)

🚗 Do not block or park in their driveways.

🍄💥 IMPORTANT UPDATE – Final Mushroom Pop-Up Rescheduled for THIS SUNDAY 💥🍄

Hi friends — I want to share something honestly and a bit personal.

This past week has been incredibly overwhelming, and some personal (non-rescue related) circumstances have taken a real toll on my mental health. As much as I tried to push through for this fundraiser, I realized I need to pause and regroup so I can show up fully for this event — and for the rescue. Although raising funds through this event is crucial, I want to make sure we do it right and create the best experience possible in a joyful, positive environment. After all, that’s what these mushrooms are for — to bring a little magic and happiness to you and your home.

With that in mind, we’re rescheduling our final Adopt A Mushroom, Save A Pup Pop-Up Fundraiser to:

🌮🐾 What an awesome fundraiser! And honestly — who better to teach pet CPR than Saved By A Vet Tech Animal Rescue? This class looks like such a fun and valuable way to learn how to save a furry life while supporting an amazing cause. 💉🐶

Tacos, education, raffles, and a chance to hang out with fellow animal lovers? I'd say “count me in” — but sadly, I’ve got a prior obligation that day. 😭 Don’t wait though — ticket sales close on 8/1!

Nicole and her rescue family are absolutely worth supporting and honestly one of our favorite rescues to work with. 💛

🍄✨ We Just Posted the Final 10 Mushrooms!✨🍄
That’s right—our last batch of magical mushrooms has officially been posted and there's almost 50 to choose from! If you’ve been waiting to adopt one of these sparkly garden guardians, now’s your moment. 🌟

💫 But here's the deal:
The weekend is over, and we need all previously adopted mushrooms picked up by Wednesday. We're clearing space to finish crafting the very last round of mushrooms for our final two Friday face-to-face events. Our Adopt A Mushroom Save A Pup Fundraiser is held every Friday throughout July from 4-8 PM at 222 E Saratoga Ferndale.
