Little Lucy needs your help‼️

When we sent Lucy to the vet they discovered she had a grade 6 heart murmur. 🥺 Needless to say, we couldn’t put her under anesthesia for spay surgery, and would need to consult with a cardiologist. The cardiologist confirmed the murmur and also found that Lucy has Severe Valvular Pulmonic Stenosis (PS) and will need heart surgery. 💔

The surgery alone costs over $7,000! 🤯

Lucy is estimated to be 4 years old and we would love to give her the best chance to live a long life. To do that, we need your help! 🙏 We need to raise at least half of the surgery cost before we can schedule the procedure.

As a 100% volunteer ran rescue, every dollar raised goes directly to caring for dogs like Lucy. ❤️

Missy is currently with our friends at Blue Ridge Canine Safehouse, and while she’s having a great time, she’d really like a foster or forever family to live on her! 🙏

Missy of 8 years old and 65 lbs. 🐕 She loves going on walks and being outside, is housebroken, and a cuddler. 🤩 She is good with kids and has done well in playgroups. She bonds deeply with her people and wants to keep them safe. 🥰

Darla is the last of Momma Charlie’s puppies looking for her forever home. 🥺 She’s honestly the cutest girl and strikingly pretty. She’s a great puppy! 🤩 She loves to play with other dogs, is quickly learning how to potty outside, and will sleep crated at night. 🥰

Darla 🐶 is almost 3 months old and between 15-20 lbs.

The US has clinched its spot in Round 2 of the World Cup, and Brownie couldn’t be more excited! ⚽🐕❤️

Sporting his red, white, and blue, Brownie is ready to cheer Team USA all the way through the tournament. 🇺🇸 While he may be small at 9 months old and 15 pounds, this little guy brings championship-level energy to everything he does! 💪

Brownie loves:
🐾 Playing with toys
🐾 Roughhousing with other dogs
🐾 Running, exploring, and staying active
🐾 Snuggling up for cuddles after the game is over

Whether he’s chasing a soccer ball, wrestling with his canine teammates, or curling up on the couch to watch the match, Brownie is always game! 🙌

These are some super cute, super sweet, super lovable puppies! 🤗 Darla (white) and Gilbert (black) are almost 3 months old now and around 15-20 lbs. They’re doing really good learning housebreaking and sleeping through the night. 🤩 You can’t go wrong with either of these pups!

It is with a heavy heart that we share that sweet Percy has crossed the 🌈 bridge.

Percy was born with a severe congenital heart defect that was unfortunately inoperable. 😢 While we always knew our time with him might be limited, nothing could have prepared us for having to say goodbye to him at just 5 months old. 💔

For the last two months of his life, Percy lived in the most wonderful foster home, where he was cherished every single day. 💗 He celebrated his 5-month birthday just one week before he passed, surrounded by the people and dogs who adored him. 🎉 He spent countless hours playing with his brother Jackson, collecting every toy he could find, enjoying pup cups, going on adventures, and soaking up all the love life had to offer. 🥰

Thank you to his incredible foster family for giving him the happiest, fullest life possible. And thank you to everyone who followed his journey, cheered him on, and loved him from afar. ❤️🐕‍🦺❤️

UPDATE - Roscoe has been found and is safe!

🚨Missing Dog🚨

Roscoe got out of his foster home around 12:30pm today. Last seen running down Whisperwood Glen Lane towards South Lakes Drive in Reston, VA.

He’s about 20 lbs and very scared and skittish. He is dragging a leash behind him. Please do not yell out for him or chase, we don’t want him to run even further. He is dog friendly so he may come up to you with your dog.

Look at this cutie! 🥰

Gilbert is another one of Charlie’s pups! 🤗 He’s 2 months old and 15 lbs. He’s also the smiliest of the bunch! 😁

Gilbert is having a great time in his foster home and loves his foster brother. 🐕 His foster mom reports: “He’s doing fantastic with the house training, learning to walk on leash, and basic commands. He has been sleeping 8 hours in his crate at night without a peep. He loves playing and tumbling with my dog and holds his own. He likes to cuddle and give kisses to the humans. He’s a sweetheart!” ❤️🐶❤️
