🚨 FOSTER NEEDED ASAP! 🚨

Mama cat and her 3 kittens were rescued from a dilapidated basement in DC after surviving outside in a heartbreaking situation. They are now safe thanks to a 4Paws volunteer and rescuer, but they desperately need a foster home.

The current rescuer is overwhelmed with other animals, so we’re looking for someone who can give this little family a safe, quiet place to decompress and thrive.

Meet Sebastian! 🐾

Sebastian is a fluffy orange boy with the sweetest, gentlest personality. He can be a little shy at first and likes to hide until he hears your voice, but once he feels safe, he’ll come out for pets and ear scratches.

He’s especially bonded with Sherlock. They groom each other, cuddle, and give each other confidence, so we’d love to see them adopted together. Sebastian also does well with other cats.

He’s looking for a new foster or forever home soon, as his current foster will be traveling outside the country. He’ll need regular brushing as his beautiful fluffy coat grows back.

Sebastian is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and FIV/FeLV negative.

Meet Sherlock! 🐾

Sherlock is a handsome tabby Maine C**n mix with a curious, social, and affectionate personality. He loves exploring, chatting with his humans, climbing his cat tower, and—of course—getting treats!

He’s especially close with Sebastian, another kitty from the same rescue. They groom each other, cuddle, and help each other feel safe. They would love to find a home together, but Sherlock can also live with another friendly cat.

Chester is looking for a foster home! He was returned after his owner passed away and unfortunately gained quite a bit of weight in his previous home.

He’s now looking for a foster who can help him on his weight-loss journey and give him a comfortable place to settle in. Chester has lived happily with other cats and is currently boarding at our vet office.

Meet Rootbeer & Milkshake!*🐾

Rootbeer is a sweet, playful gray boy who loves people, toys, and cuddles. He’s friendly and outgoing, and his confidence helps his sister feel comfortable too.

Milkshake is a beautiful dilute tortie who can be a little shy at first, but quickly warms up with some patience. Once she’s comfortable, her sweet, playful personality shines!

These bonded 1-year-old siblings are happiest together and love playing, snuggling, and keeping each other company. They’re currently at the Alexandria Petco and need to find a foster or forever home together soon.

FOSTER NEEDED! 🐾

These two sweet kitties are looking for a foster home! They’re both around 6 years old and were rescued from a local hoarding case.

They’re understandably scared right now, but both are very sweet and just need a safe, patient place to decompress and feel comfortable.

One of them is a beautiful brown tabby, polydactyl, and Maine C**n mix!

We can pull them from the case **once a foster home is confirmed**.

🚨 **FOSTER NEEDED ASAP! 🐾

Momma cat + 7 kittens need a foster home! They were found together in a storage unit in Sterling, and Mom is still nursing. The kittens are estimated to be around 4–5 weeks old, but their exact age is unknown.

Fostering all 8 is a big commitment, but we may be able to split the group up in a few week, once the kittens are bigger and no longer nursing. So please don’t let the number of cats scare you away from reaching out! 🥰

Sweet Mimi is seeking her forever home with a family that can appreciate a full-figured (16 lbs) senior (9 years) gal, hopefully providing her with a little weight management. She is gentle and likes to be petted on her head and under the chin, and she loves giving head-butts to her Person. She will engage in interactive play with a wand toy, or chase the laser light and enjoys lounging in a not-too-tall cat tree where she can look out a sunny window.

She is accustomed to a low-key environment and has not been around any children or dogs, so a quiet home is best. Someone retired or semi-retired, perhaps? She can get along with another cat who is equally laid back and does not try to dominate her, but she would be fine as a single pet to get all the attention to herself. Interested in adopting Mimi?
