Gorgeous 5-year-old Siamese boy seeking foster home! Can you resist those blue eyes? He is sweet and loves to get Churu treats and will follow his human around the house (maybe waiting for more treats). Fortune has some pending medical work to be completed, so the foster home needs to be in the northern Virginia area. The foster must have transportation and the ability to take him to medical appointments during the week. The foster also needs to be able to administer medications as necessary. Meadow is currently at the Fairfax Petco, but would love to go Home for the Holidays. This is a short term foster program for Petco cats to get a break from their cages. Meadow is the total cat package- friendly, good with children as well as with dogs. He is 5 months old and would love a friendly, playful cat friend.

Happy Friday from Chester! Chester is a very lovable cat. He's easy going and gets along with other cats. He enjoys affection from his humans, including lots of pets and being picked up & carried around; he also enjoys playing with toys and playing chase with other cats. Chester would do great with another friendly, active cat.

Don't walk past the senior cats in the shelter.

They may be old, and they may move a little slower. Their fur might be scruffy, and their eyes weary from waiting. But their hearts? Their hearts remain full of pure, unwavering love.

They don't ask for much - just a soft spot to rest, gentle hands, and someone who finally chooses them. Day after day, they wait quietly, watching the younger cats leave, still hoping their turn will come.

When you adopt a senior cat, you're not just giving them a home... you're giving them their final chapter filled with warmth instead of loneliness. And in return, they give you a love that is calm, immensely grateful, and endlessly true.

Please, don't ignore these old souls. Sometimes the greatest love truly comes with a few gray whiskers.

And this Christmas season, the most meaningful gift you can give a senior cat is the promise of forever love and peace. 🎄
