Kaspar is a cute British Shorthair who was found in the streets scared and bullied by other cats. He is still a little shy but he is very motivated by food which is the key for helping him relax. He is very loving and has been through so much, but the rescuer feels that he would thrive with a loving and patient foster or adopter. Kaspar is about 1 year old, neutered, tested negative for FIV and FeLv, microchipped and vaccinated. He does well with other cats only if they are non confrontational and peaceful with him so he may be best as a single cat.

Happy Saturday from Lincoln! He comes to us from a partnering shelter's barn cat program. Unlike many barn cats, he is not feral. 4Paws Rescue Team is an all-volunteer nonprofit that rescues cats and kittens. We currently have several cats in need of one-cat foster homes. We provide pre-approved vet care. You provide food, shelter and love.

Bonnie, a pretty dark grey with green eyes, wants to be an only cat where she can get all the petting. Loving "her" person, she will chatter at you to get your attention, follow you around, and sit on your lap or next to you. She also likes boxes and hide-away beds. Her coat is neat -- she is a minimal shedder. Her estimated birthdate is November 12, 2020.

Bonnie will do best in a home with one human and no other cats. She has been around her current foster’s cat-savvy mastiff dog and is neutral towards him, so she should do okay with a dog that is used to cats and would not compete for her person's attention.

Bonnie has had vaccinations for rabies and distemper, is microchipped, and has been spayed. She has tested negative for FeLV and FIV.

Craisin was found outdoors in Maryland after his human moved away. He was confused and hungry when he was picked up by a local rescuer. After she confirmed he had been abandoned by his people, he was transferred to 4Paws to be a part of the clowder of cats that roam around a cat café called Meows Corner.

However, Craisin has strong opinions about his male cat friends and had to be put in "time out" a lot, which wasn't helping him get adopted, and was stressing the other cats out.

Craisin has not been tested with dogs but with proper introductions should do okay with friendly dogs. Because his estimated birth date is April 20, 2023, he is still at that young/playful age but is over the younger kitten destructo-machine phase. Craisin would do well with a family with children, but he is on the larger side so smaller kids should be supervised in case they try to pick him up.

Bubbles was rescued as a tiny kitten alongside his sister, Hana, after a heartbreaking poisoning incident took the lives of their mother and four siblings. While Hana was lucky to find her forever home through 4 Paws, Bubbles has stayed behind—growing, healing, and waiting for his chance at love.

Despite his painful past, Bubbles is the epitome of gentleness and affection. He’s a loving boy who adores cuddles, follows his human around, and truly understands the rhythm of a home. He listens, respects boundaries, and offers quiet comfort like only a special cat can.

Raised alongside nine other cats, Bubbles is well-socialized and friendly with both humans and felines—given the right introductions. He’s non-aggressive, emotionally intelligent, and his sweet gestures after a long day are enough to lift anyone’s spirits. Bubbles is fully vaccinated, microchipped , dewormed and neutered.

Attention! We have multiple geriatric aged cats that have recently lost their homes that we need to find placement for. We are willing to do permanent foster where we continue to sponsor their vet care so we can get them out of boarding. Lady Gaga has been return two times, due to no fault of her own. She has been living in a cage at the vet's office for almost 4mos now! We desperately need someone to give her a chance. We also have Samantha who has been returned at an advance age that is on meds to manage hyperthyroidism. She is also in dire need of foster care. Leo was found with a rescuer’s community cats’ kittens. He was found without a mom and was very weak and small (nearby shopkeepers updated the rescuer that his mom passed away in a car accident and he was the only kitten she had). Since he was without a mom and was not doing well outside, the rescuer brought him inside to care for him. Leo is approximately three months old. He is dewormed, microchipped, and vaccinated. He will need to be neutered when he is old enough. He’s calm, affectionate, and social — a gentle soul who deserves a home.

Ruby is a beautiful and intelligent kitty who was surrendered while pregnant. The elderly couple that owned her was unable to continue caring for her. She gave birth to two adorable Super Bowl kittens (named Chief and Eagle!). When her kittens were adopted, Ruby was brought to her current foster home. Now she is ready for a forever home!

Ruby is a super sweet cat and will love you right away. She wants to play, eat, lounge, anything as long as she is with you! She is a non-stop purring machine. Ruby loves lying on her back for belly rubs. She would love to be in a home with anyone who will give her attention and treats. Ruby appreciates a good challenge and is smart enough to solve any treat puzzles you give her.

The 4Paws Rescue Team is a nonprofit community-based all volunteer organization that takes in neglected, abandoned, abused and unwanted cats and kittens. Cats rescued by 4Paws receive vaccines and appropriate veterinary care before being adopted into permanent, loving homes.

4Paws is a qualified public charity under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. All contributions are fully tax deductible as allowed by law. The 4Paws Rescue Team participates in the Combined Federal Campaign andCommonwealth of Virginia Campaign. Federal Government workers can contribute to 4Paws through payroll deductions by designating #34517. Virginia State Employees may contribute through their payroll by designating #3472.
