These 7 chi-mix puppies need immediate fosters. They were surrendered by their owner for no reason and will be put down Tuesday if they don't have rescue. They have a skin condition they are being treated for which is why they are on the euth list. Who can help? They are 7 weeks old and can transfer on the 10th or 17th.

Email us at [email protected] if you can foster any.

Meet Oreo – a Sweet, Silly Tuxedo Looking for a Fresh Start

Oreo is a 3 ½–year-old Tuxedo beauty whose world turned upside down when her beloved elderly owner had to move into assisted living. After thriving in a loving home, Oreo suddenly found herself in boarding, and while she’s handled the changes with grace, she’s ready for the stability and comfort of a real home again.

With a little patience and consistency, Oreo will blossom into the affectionate companion she’s always been. She’s already showing her playful side in the cat room—rolling over in the silliest upside-down poses to get your attention. Once she settles in, this sweet girl will reward you with love, laughter, and plenty of charm.

Oreo is currently in the Cat Room at Chow Down in Evergreen. If you’re ready to give Oreo the second chance she deserves, please complete a cat application at www.eapl.com. Once approved, you’ll be welcome to bring this silly sweetheart home!

Meet Morty – The Life of the Party!

🐾 Breed: Bull Terrier
🐾 Age: About 6 years old

Morty is a goofy, sweet, and big-hearted boy who absolutely adores his humans. He’s the type who will happily flop over for belly rubs and is over-the-moon excited anytime he gets to go for a car ride.

True to his Bull Terrier personality, Morty is full of enthusiasm and energy—he approaches life like a happy bulldozer, plowing his way right into your heart. He’s very smart and eager to learn, though he’s still polishing up his manners (he thinks “off” is a fun new game!).

✨ Morty’s highlights:

❤ Sleeps soundly in his kennel all night

❤ Knows how to use the doggie door

❤ Loves people and thrives on attention

❤ Always up for an adventure

Because Morty plays a little rough, he would do best in a home without small dogs or cats. He may enjoy a confident dog friend who matches his energy, but he’s also just as happy soaking up the spotlight as your one-and-only.

Morty is looking for someone who will continue his training, embrace his silly spirit, and give him the love he craves. If you’re ready for a fun, loyal, and endlessly entertaining companion—Morty might be your guy!

👉 Apply to adopt Morty today at EAPL.com

Good morning and Happy Foster Fail Friday! This is one of our favorites. Dale was completely out of time at the shelter and this wonderful couple stepped up to foster him. It's also maybe the fastest Foster Fail we've ever had. Transport arrived about 1:30 pm and by 7 pm that night, we had an email that Dale was staying put. ❤ To be honest, it might have been over the minute Dale got off the transport van-you could see instantly how much his mom and dad were in love with him. Read on:

"We first saw Dale on the EAPL page, and something about him pulled at our hearts. We decided to foster him, knowing he needed a safe place and a chance to learn what love feels like.

What started as “just fostering” quickly turned into a foster fail because we absolutely fell in love with him. Dale has made so much progress since coming into our home. He started out timid, but with patience and consistency, he’s been overcoming his fears little by little each day.

Now, Dale shows us just how loving he truly is. He cuddles close, greets us with excitement, and reminds us how resilient and forgiving dogs can be when given a second chance.

Dale is proof that sometimes fostering doesn’t end the way you plan… it ends even better. ❤️"

Is someone cutting onions? We just love this so much. We love you Dale! Have the best Forever with your amazing new family!

Lucy was adopted!!! Such great news. Her new mom had this to say:

"Lucy’s foster mom told us she was the perfect dog and she was correct!

Lucy is happily adjusting to her new home. We stay busy on walks and she’s teaching us how to play with her and her toys."

Happy Forever, you beautiful girl! We're so happy for you!

**Adoption Update! **

Gibbs (now named Chester) was adopted! His new family checked in with us.

Chester has been doing well in his new home and has adjusted well to life with us and his new older sister, Montana, who is a low energy rescue dog herself. He is now able to live in a calm and stable environment in his forever home! He is a great dog and has already filled our home with so much joy. Chester is coming out of his shell more and more everyday. He loves to cuddle, play with his stuffed toy, and guard the front door with Montana. He also hops up and down the staircase with ease. After a particularly muddy walk a couple nights ago, he was bathed and was well-behaved throughout the process (with the help of many treats!) He is quickly learning that he can trust us as his new owners and is already responding well to clicker training. He prefers to sleep in his crate when he is done playing and cuddling after a long day. We are excited for Chester's next chapter in our lives, and thank EAPL and his foster mother for taking such good take of him. He is a perfect match for us.

Aww we could not love this more. Looks like a dream life. Have the best Forever, Chester!!

**Update: Foster Found!**

She is a 3 month old Great Pyr mix You do NOT have to live in the mountains to foster her, but we ARE looking for a cooler Colorado climate adopter for these pups as they do not do well in heat.

Hi my name is Aspen. I am a Great Pyrenees puppy & I love fun! Please have a yard I can play in because I have big paws to grow into double dew claws & all. I’m just about the cutest puppy in the world, sweet, sassy & a fire cracker! I love to play with my foster brother Moose who is 125lbs & can hold my own with him. I have a dominant personality & maybe best with a male sibling (if there’s another dog in the household). I’m still working on potty training, but I’m very smart and making good progress. I love, cuddles and belly rubs and being your shadow. I will fall asleep right in your arms. So if you’re looking for a smart, fluffy, sassy companion Aspen is for you
