Shorter days + cooler weather = more time indoors. But that doesn’t mean pets have to be bored. 🤪🥶☀️

We suggest trying:
- A Hide-A-Treat Ball or Toy 🎾
- Lick Mats and Snuffle Mats 🍭
- Daycare to help burn off energy in a safe, social setting 🐶

Keeping pets mentally stimulated is just as important as physical exercise — especially in the winter months! ❄️☃️🧣

Safe Foods for Dogs this holiday season include:
- Fully Cooked, Unseasoned Meats like Turkey, Chicken, and Beef
- Green Beans, Peas, and Carrots
- Fully Cooked or Pureed Pumpkin and Sweet Potatoes

Our Halloween Costume Contest was a great success!! 🎃🐶🎉

Congrats to Moxxy for winning first place as R2D2!! 🥇🏆❤️

Second place went to Josie, who was a chicken!! 🐓❤️🫶

Third place was a three way tie, Quinn the Parrot, Luca + Luigi the Hot Dog Kings, and Peter the Dinosaur! 🦜🌭🦖

It’s National Cat Day! 🐱😻😽

This National Cat Day, we wanted you to meet our staff’s purr-fect kitties!

Photo one is Buffy, Casper’s cat! She is 2 years old, and her favorite game is Whack-A-Mole!

Photos two and three are Killu and Kyra, Amber’s cats! Killu just turned one, and loves to steal receipts! Kyra is 4, and when she isn’t napping, she’s chatting!

Photo four is Sheet Metal, Maegan’s cat! He’s 5, and begs for attention with head bonks and biting knees!

Photos five and six are Splenunculus and Box Fan, October’s cats! Splenunculus is 3, and LIVES for belly scratches. Box Fan is 2, and loves to splash around in water!

Photos seven and eight are Onda and Nori, Neva’s cats! Onda is 10, and loves an on leash walk through her back yard to eat grass. Nori is 4, and plays fetch more insistently than most dogs!

Photo nine is Marvin, Shawn’s cat! He plays with his dog siblings like one of the dogs, and even joins them out in their outdoor run sometimes!

Say Hello to October's Membership Spotlight: Special Agent Dale Cooper, AKA, Cooper! 🐶🐾❤

Here's the lowdown on the perfect guy, told by his stellar mom and dad, Caroline and Marc!

"Special Agent Dale Cooper (named after the lead character in ‘Twin Peaks’ but just “Cooper” for short) came home to the mountains of Colorado at 8 weeks old. We picked him up from the mountains of New Mexico during a snowstorm on St. Patrick’s Day, 2½ years ago — fitting for a dog who would grow up to love snow more than anything. The colder it is outside, the harder it is to convince him to come indoors!
Cooper is the sweetest dog and just wants to be near people — really near. Ideally between your legs, on your feet, or on top of you entirely. Belly rubs and butt scratches are his favorites, but truly, as long as you’re paying attention to him, he’s happy.
He’s been coming to BBI since he was a puppy and absolutely loves it here. In fact, he’s enjoyed it so much that we’ve upgraded our membership a couple of times just to get him more time with his friends! At home, he’s gentle and quiet, but at BBI he turns into his most social, talkative, and rambunctious self. We’re pretty sure he thinks he’s part of the staff and needs to make his presence known.
We love the team at Bergen Bark and are so grateful to have such a wonderful place right here in Evergreen."
