Tracking is an awesome way to give your dog both physical AND mental exercise, while building confidence and letting them do what dogs naturally love to do… USE THEIR NOSE! 👃🐶

• 15-foot lead
• Harness
• Your dog’s favorite toy or treats
🐕 Worried because your dog isn’t dog-friendly?
DON’T BE! You will NOT have to work closely with other dogs. We can give everyone the space they need to succeed.

I’m Chris Sutton, a retired Police K-9 Supervisor and Trainer with over 30 years of professional dog training experience.
I work with all breeds and all ages, from puppies to senior dogs, helping with obedience, jumping, biting/nipping, leash pulling, behavioral issues, and general manners.
Training is one-on-one in your home, where real-life behavior happens. I focus on understanding the dog and creating lasting results. Most owners see significant improvement within 2–3 visits.

🐾 A MAGGIE UPDATE! 🐾
Some of you may remember Maggie. She’s a pit bull who was extremely nervous when I first met her. And when I say nervous…let’s just say she looked at me like she was seriously considering eating me! 😂
Mom and Dad wanted to help Maggie become more comfortable and socialized, so we started working. And then we worked some more. And some more.
Little by little, Maggie started to trust me.
That nervous, scared girl who once wanted nothing to do with me eventually became one of my best friends. ❤️
Today, we took another trip to Glasgow Park to continue working on her socialization. We went into the dog park by ourselves and let Maggie tackle the obstacle course.
And let me tell you…she absolutely ROCKED it! 💪🐶
She walked through that course with nothing but confidence. You could see how proud she was of herself—and we were pretty proud of her too!
And the best part? Now instead of looking at me like I'm her worst enemy, Maggie spends her time giving me love, kisses, and all the affection she can give. ❤️
This is honestly one of my favorite stories.
We took a dog who was so scared and nervous that she looked like she wanted to eat me… and through patience, trust, consistency, and a lot of hard work, she became my buddy.
And this is the training lesson I want people to remember: You cannot rush confidence. You cannot force a nervous dog to suddenly become social. Real progress comes from building trust, giving the dog clear guidance, creating successful experiences, and repeating those experiences until the dog realizes, “I can handle this.”
Maggie didn't become confident overnight. She earned that confidence one successful experience at a time.
That's why we celebrate the little victories. Walking through an obstacle course confidently might seem small to some people, but for a dog who once struggled just being around people, that is HUGE.
Mom and Dad are doing an amazing job, too. They have stayed consistent and continued working with her, and it shows.
Maggie, I am so proud of you. I love you, girlie. Keep up the great work! ❤️🐾
This is why I love what I do. Watching a dog gain confidence, watching the relationship between a dog and their family grow, and seeing a scared dog discover what she's capable of—that's what it's all about.
Patience + consistency + trust + repetition = confidence.
