• Loving Home Dog Care is a small doggie day care, overnight care, and pet sitting company serving northeastern MD & many surrounding areas of DE, MD & PA. Conveniently located in Elkton, MD on the Delaware line, we’re a short drive from Newark, DE, near I-95, and close to southeastern PA as well. We specialize in private, constantly supervised small play groups, in a spac

ious, fenced in play yard — outdoors on real grass! We provide cage free doggie day care & overnight care in a cozy, home environment. We also offer in-home pet care & dog walking services, as well as grooming for dogs who are here for day or overnight care.

• We allow no more than 10-12 furry guests to attend at one time because keeping play groups small ensures the safest, most enjoyable play time for everyone. Our extensive background working with hundreds of dogs in boarding kennels & large doggie daycares is what inspired us to start LHDC. We learned a great deal from our many years of experience in those types of overcrowded environments, and we know that smaller play groups are better, safer, & ensure that each pup gets plenty of individualized attention. Every dog is unique & they each have their own various needs. Many dogs feel anxious, irritated, or neglected when left in a boarding kennel or dog care facility with cages & far too many dogs in attendance. They'll never feel that way here because we’re a cozy, home away from home for your best bud. They simply think that they’re on a fabulous pup-cation at their friend or family member’s house. We know because we asked them & they wagged their tails & licked our faces. ;) Think of us as the ultimate doggie clubhouse. :)

• We often have guests who prefer the indoor life to being outdoors all day, and that's totally fine! When they’re here, pups can go in & out as they please. They’re always supervised and they’re never forced to go outside if they’d rather be lounging indoors on the couch or their very own king sized bed! The best part? No cages ever — unless of course you’d prefer your dog be crated at night. But no matter what your dog's pup-sonality, there's a place for them with us, as long as they get along with other dogs. We even offer grooming services for dogs that are attending for day or overnight care! Our clients frequently refer to us their dog's second family, which we take great pride in — because that's exactly what we are! Every dog that spends time with us is considered a member of our family & is treated as such.
