We love you Tech!!

🐾 Tech Update! 🐾

Our sweet little Tech, has been busy learning, growing, and making friends—and we’re so proud of the progress he’s making!

Each week, Tech visits the groomer to get used to being handled and cared for, and today we got a glowing report: he didn’t scream during his nail trim! 🙌 That might sound small, but for a young pup, that’s a big win—and we’re here for every bit of progress, no matter how small.

Lately, Tech has also been working on:
✨ Riding calmly in the car
✨ Getting brushed daily
✨ Practicing sit, down, place, and calm behavior
✨ Learning to walk nicely on a leash
✨ Coming when called
✨ Spending weekends in a home learning to ask to go outside for potty breaks
✨ And just enjoying being a playful, happy puppy! 🐶

We’re also exposing him to new sights, sounds, and environments—slowly and intentionally. Because here’s the thing: therapy dog training takes time.

Training a solid, dependable therapy dog isn’t a 6-week crash course—it’s a journey that takes 12–18 months or more of consistent training, socialization, and real-life exposure. Taking things slowly helps build confidence, trust, and emotional stability—all key traits of a great therapy dog.

Tech’s got a bright future ahead, and right now, we’re laying the foundation one experience at a time.
