Ziti is a beautiful 5-month-old long-haired dilute Calico who was found in the garage of a family home with her siblings.

She is a curious little love bug who enjoys being around people. Ziti loves to rub against you, starts purring as soon as she is petted, and even enjoys belly rubs. Her affectionate and curious nature makes her a wonderful little companion.

Penne is a beautiful 5-month-old short-haired dilute tortoiseshell calico who was found in the garage of a family home with her siblings.

She is a sweet girl who may take a little time to feel comfortable when she meets new people. Once she does, her loving personality shines through. Penne purrs as soon as she is petted and enjoys belly rubs. She would do best with a patient family willing to give her the time and love she needs to blossom.

Princeton is a handsome 3-year-old boy who was found living outside and lovingly cared for by a kind feeder for about six months. She made sure he had food and looked out for him, but eventually someone asked if she would be willing to have Princeton brought to a shelter so he could receive the veterinary care he needed and have a chance at finding a loving forever home. She agreed, knowing that although she cared about him, she already had three cats of her own and simply couldn’t take in another.

And that’s how Princeton’s journey toward a better life began. He was brought to Standish Humane Society, where he was neutered, fully vetted, and given the fresh start he deserved.

Now this handsome boy is ready to find a family of his own. Princeton is affectionate, sweet, and ready to enjoy the comfort and security of an indoor home. After spending so much time outside, he deserves a family who will show him just how wonderful life can be.

Lochlan is a 4-month-old male kitten.
What makes Lochlan truly special is his incredibly robust purr. For such a small kitten, he sounds like a tiny, happy rumbling sports car engine!!!

He just loves chasing spring toys, but most of all he loves interacting with humans! He gets along with other cats and would be okay with dogs after a proper introduction.

Gnocchi is a handsome 5-month-old long-haired gray tiger-striped boy with white markings. He and his siblings were found in the garage of a family home.

Gnocchi is a sweet boy who may take time to warm up, but once he feels comfortable, he comes out to play. Give him a gentle pat and he starts purring right away. He would love a patient, loving home where he can continue to build his confidence and show his sweet personality.

Fizz was found wandering outside alongside another cat. After looking into their story and trying to find their owner, we learned that the person who had loved and cared for them had sadly passed away.

A family member took them in, hoping to help, but unfortunately, these two indoor cats soon found themselves outside. Once we spoke with the new owner, he decided that surrendering them was the best option, as he wasn’t really looking to keep them.

And while Fizz may not have understood how or why his life suddenly changed, he now has a chance at something wonderful—a fresh start and a forever home where he will be wanted, loved, and kept safe.

Fizz has already lost the person he knew and loved. Now we’re hoping to help him find the person who will be his forever.

Figgy’s life changed when the person he loved passed away. A family member took Figgy and his housemate in, but unfortunately, they were being allowed to spend time outside. It quickly became clear that these two were indoor cats who had spent their lives where they belonged—safe, warm, and cared for inside a home.

When Figgy and his housemate were found outside and their new owner was contacted, he asked for help finding them a better situation. And that’s exactly what we want to give Figgy: a chance to leave the uncertainty behind and start over.

Figgy has already experienced more change than any cat should have to. Now he deserves a forever home where he can feel safe, loved, and cherished for the rest of his life.

We're looking for volunteers to join our weekday morning cleaning team (in Duxbury). Shifts start around 8:15–8:30 am (with some flexibility) and last about 1 to 1½ hours.

Duties include:
✅ Cage sanitizing
✅ Scooping and sanitizing litter boxes
✅ Straightening bedding and linens
✅ Floor sweeping and mopping
✅ Playing with, petting, and sweet talking our kitties 😻

You will be closely supervised and assisted by the cats and kittens in the room.

Schedules are typically once a week, but every other week or once a month works too!

The pay is incomparable: all the purrs, cuddles, head bumps, paw biscuits, and snuggles you can stand.
