Edith is crate trained, knows sit, and is doing wonderfully with house training. She is about 99% house trained and will even let her foster know she needs to go outside by nudging her leash hanging on the wall. Like many dogs, she may have an occasional accident if something startles or scares her. She would do best with adults or older children who can help continue building her confidence in new situations.

3 Years Old • Pit Mix • 40 lbs

Like a little baby deer learning to navigate the world all over again, Ellie has been in her foster home for just over a week,and she is doing fantastic. 💛

Every day, she's gaining a little more confidence, trusting the world a little more, and learning that she's safe. The sweet girl who once seemed so unsure is starting to lean in for affection and love on her people like she's always belonged.

Like her sister Hallsey, an unexpected loss of her owner, Ellie's entire world changed overnight. Finding herself in unfamiliar surroundings was heartbreaking, but little by little, she's showing us the beautiful dog that's been hiding beneath the uncertainty.

Once Ellie trusts you, her sweet and affectionate personality shines. ✨
