Our patient Julian had quite the birthday paw-ty this past Sunday!!

He dressed up in his best suit, enjoyed a hand-made birthday cake, and even had a raffle for all his friends who attended his 6th birthday celebration.

We wish him a very happy late birthday and we hope he enjoyed his paw-ty!

TW — Torn Nail
Yesterday, Spike came in with a torn nail on his right hind paw. He was a very brave patient while Dr. Johnson carefully clipped and cleaned the affected area and bandaged his paw for protection. Thank you to our amazing support staff keeping him calm and comfortable during the process!

Spike was sent home with a couple medications to help keep him comfortable and support his recovery. 🐾

Meet Piper, an adorable little 9 week old Vizsla that came in for her first puppy visit today.

She was perfect for her exam and we look forward to seeing her again for her next puppy vaccines!

Meet Hoku from Standish Humane Society! 🐾

Hoku was recently brought to Pine Woods Animal Hospital after his foster noticed he wasn't eating and had become increasingly lethargic. Dr. Johnson performed emergency surgery to repair an abdominal hernia, and Hoku spent the following two days receiving hospitalized care.

Hoku has perked up significantly and is now back home recovering with his foster family. We wish him a smooth and speedy recovery and hope he finds his forever family very soon!

We will be closed on Friday, July 3rd and Saturday, July 4th in observance of the upcoming holiday weekend. We will reopen on Monday, July 6th.

If your pet needs Fear Free medication to help them stay calm during the fireworks, please submit your refill request as soon as possible. We will only be able to fill medication requests through Thursday.
