Marcy Eckhardt, Certified Professional Dog Trainer has been working with dogs for years in different capacities. Marcy began focusing on dogs at the age of 14 and has run a doggie daycare, worked as a veterinary technician, groomer and shelter technician, shelter director and consultant before finding her true passion - Empowering Individuals to Succeed with their Dogs. Marcy also specializes in r
ehabilitating dogs who end up in animal shelters, identifying their needs and training them appropriate behaviors before rehoming them throughout the United States. Focused on every day needs, she offers training in basic and advanced behaviors and Core Competencies (Recall, Leash Manners, and Dog Reactivity) - those behaviors necessary to succeed in society. Marcy also offers behavior rehabilitation for problem behaviors and problem situations. In 2017, pranaDOGS began offering service dogs for adoption and service dog specific training and consulting. By hand selecting dogs from shelters and rescues, Marcy selects dogs for individuals specific needs and desires.
