As many of you may or may not know, our very own Dr. Julie Kelly helps run a mass rabies and wellness clinic in Kenya and Tanzania! Volunteers administer lifesaving vaccines, deworming and relief from parasites. All services are provided for free!!

This is where you come in, if you are wanting to help, the group relies on donations for medical supplies, leashes, collars, and they also pay for their own travel expenses.

The animals being treated are not only companions, but also act as protectors for the villages. The dogs act as sentinels warning the villagers of dangers, Cats keep the homes free of disease carrying pests, and the donkeys carry water long distances to homes.

Please help us provide medical services to the animals and villagers who otherwise have no access to veterinary services. $2 provides one rabies vaccines to an animal and 100 percent of your donations goes straight towards medical expenses.

Dr. Kelly has a new goal of trying to vaccinate 12,000 animals!! If you are interested in donating to this amazing cause, please reach out to us!

We can take the following:

Today is National Animal Disaster Preparedness Day—a reminder to include your furry, feathered, and scaly family members in your emergency plans. 🐾🌪️

Here’s how to keep your pets safe:

1️⃣ Create a Pet Emergency Kit: Include food, water, medications, vaccination records, a leash/harness, and comfort items like toys or blankets. 🛠️🐕
2️⃣ Have an Evacuation Plan: Know pet-friendly shelters or hotels in your area and ensure your pets are microchipped and wearing updated ID tags. 📍🐾
3️⃣ Practice Together: Familiarize your pets with carriers and emergency drills, so they stay calm if disaster strikes. 🚨🐾
4️⃣ Stay Informed: Monitor weather alerts and have a list of nearby veterinary clinics in case of injury. 📡🩺

Being prepared can save lives. Let’s make sure our beloved animals are ready for anything—because they rely on us to be their heroes. 🐾❤️
