🐾 It’s FURiday and we’re kicking off the weekend with a face you won’t be able to resist… meet Indigo! 💙

This sweet boy is the full package: curious, intelligent, friendly and eager to please. He’s still working on his “sit,” but he’s already mastered the art of stealing hearts (and snacks 🍖).

Affection? Indigo’s all in. Expect big head snuggles and major lean-ins once the pets start flowing. And can we talk about those ears?! One up, one down—it’s the kind of charm you can’t teach.

Indigo hasn’t met kids or other dogs just yet, but he’s ready to explore the world with a forever family. Just make sure you’re stocked up on treats… he will beg for more. 😉

🎾 Meet Valorie — our tennis ball queen and the longest current resident at the Animal Resource Center. 💛

She’s been waiting for a home since Jan. 24 (104 days!) and is so ready to trade her kennel for a backyard and a best friend.

Valorie is playful, affectionate and loves to be the center of attention. She’s great on leash, knows “sit,” takes treats gently and is learning to drop the ball after fetch! She prefers sturdy chew toys over plushies and gives the sweetest kisses.

She hasn’t met young kids, but did great with teens here at the shelter — calm, friendly and so gentle.

Let’s get this girl the home she deserves. Come meet Valorie at the ARC!

🥹 Richmond just wanted to pop by and give you some Wednesday kisses through the screen! This sweet boy is all about the love — just look at him trying to smooch his way to a treat! 💋🐾

Richmond is a playful, curious and affectionate pup who’s eager to please and ready to find his forever home. He loves leaning into you for extra pets and does the cutest little baby hops when he’s excited (especially if hotdogs are involved 🌭).

He hasn’t met kids or other dogs yet, but he’s got so much love to give and can’t wait to meet his new family. 💛

The Montgomery County Animal Resource Center is a 24,000-square-foot open admission companion animal shelter. As part of our service to the citizens of Montgomery County, our agency takes in thousands of dogs each year. In addition to direct adoptions, the Animal Resource Center, part of the Dayton Alliance for Companion Animals, works with the Humane Society of Greater Dayton and the SICSA Pet Adoption Center along with many placement partners to find homes for as many animals as possible.
