We are truly honored that so many families have contacted us for puppies this year 🥰 We are happy to announce that Lady Liliana aka Mo (Mini Oak) from Lady Okalani x Sir Viktor has passed her embark x OFA testing!

Unfortunately though, she is the daughter of our only intact male. We have been searching for a quality stud but all those that have passed their health testing, their families want 2000-3000 upfront wether there are the birth of live puppies or not. Now they have said that we can bring Mo back for a second or possibly a third try if the 1st x 2nd attempts fail but We personally feel that is a crap offer and that’s why we have not bred Mo and are making this ISO Stud post. Soooooo, if you or someone you know has a stud that has passed their health testing and would be willing to receive the balance of their stud free after the BIRTH of LIVE PUPPIES - please reach out to us.

This year, Rice's is undertaking something new and exciting. At this year's Monroe County Fair 4-H animal auction, we purchased all the animals that were bid on by local businesses, but which they did not want to actually keep. The meat from these animals will be sold in our store, with each label noting which student raised the meat, and which local business or individual supported the student by purchasing the animal at auction.

K&S Rolloff is one of the businesses that supported quite a few 4-H students by purchasing their animals at auction including hogs, sheep, goats, and beef. K&S is a locally owned and family operated business with over 30 years of waste management experience.

If you want to enjoy a cut of meat locally-raised in the 4-H program, stop in at Rice's and grab some while it is available! We've been stocking our freezer with freshly-processed pork, and will be adding lamb, goat, and beef in the coming weeks as well.

Come for dinner, stay for the market!

The Rip Rap Roadhouse is no stranger to serving large crowds. They host bike night on Wednesdays and serve over 1,000 guests with ease! This week they are prepared to serve even more with the market crowd! You can order dinner inside or outside at the bar and sit and enjoy live music with you eat!

Afterwards you can visit our 50 vendors to get all your produce, breads, and artisan products before heading to the Rip Rap Shake Shack for desert!
