🐾 Meet Bagel! 🐾
Bagel is a happy-go-lucky boy with a heart full of love! He enjoys people of all sizes and gets along well with other animals.
Unfortunately, after coming into our care, Bagel tested positive for Heartworm Disease, Lyme Disease, and Ehrlichiosis. The good news is that all three conditions are treatable and are not contagious to people or other pets.
Bagel is looking for a calm, loving home where he can relax while going through treatment. He needs a foster home for approximately 5–6 months, or even better, a foster-to-adopt family willing to help him through his recovery journey.
If you’re interested in helping Bagel, please fill out an application at www.onangelswings.org. We provide all supplies, medications, and veterinary care needed during treatment.
❤️ Help us give Bagel the comfortable recovery he deserves!

📚 Did You Know?
🦟 Heartworm Disease
Heartworms are spread by mosquito bites and can live in a dog’s heart, lungs, and blood vessels. Treatment is highly effective, but prevention through a monthly heartworm preventative is much easier and safer.
🕷️ Lyme Disease
Lyme disease is transmitted through infected tick bites. It can cause joint pain, fever, and lethargy, but most dogs respond well to treatment when diagnosed early.
🕷️ Ehrlichiosis
Ehrlichiosis is another tick-borne disease that affects a dog’s blood cells and immune system. With proper veterinary care and medication, many dogs recover successfully.
✅ The best protection against all three conditions is year-round monthly heartworm, flea, and tick prevention.
🐾 Thank you for helping us spread the word and giving dogs like Bagel a second chance.
