Here's everyone that's currently available:

Adoptions are by appointment only, and require a meet and greet with everyone in the family (if you're interested in a dog, the other dogs in the home must have a meet and greet)
YOU'RE ABOUT TO ADOPT A DOG!!!!
The first few days/weeks can be difficult. They are at the mercy of their new family to make the right decisions for them. Typically we don't know much about their history, and what we do know are the things that the dog has shown us, or things that a previous owner has shared.
Things you SHOULDN'T do with a newly adopted rescue/shelter dog:
-take them to a dog park
-invite friends/family over to meet right away
-let them off leash (keep leash on in the home, yard, and obviously in public)
-INVADE THEIR PERSONAL SPACE.
-leave them outside unattended
-take them to a pet store
- rough play!
Getting a new pet is exciting!
However, YOU HAVE TIME! Don't rush it... bond with your dog!
The first few days/weeks/months can have a lasting effect on both of you.
Every dog is different, every environment is different, every person is different. TAKE YOUR TIME, AND BE PATIENT!
Does a new dog know the difference between a shoe and a toy?
Does your new dog know where the door is to let you know he has to go out?
Does he know that each meal is not his last?
Does he know that a raised hand isn't always dangerous?
Your intentions may be good, but does he know that?
We require a meet and greet with your current dog(s) and your possible adopted dog. SLOW INTRODUCTIONS ONCE HOME IS STILL VERY IMPORTANT. This is why it's best to leave leash's on! You can easily correct them without the danger of putting yourself in harms way.
Gentle pets, soft words, kind gestures...these are all very positive ways to start a new relationship!
Our adoption fee for fully vetted adult dogs: $125
