We are so exited to finally announce our big news! Please join us in giving a warm welcome to our new veterinarian, Dr. Ferreira!

Dr. Ferreira is a compassionate veterinarian dedicated to providing high quality care to pets and the people who love them. As a Fear Free Certified veterinarian, she is dedicated to making each visit as calm, gentle, and comfortable as possible. She has a special interest in oncology and believes in supporting clients with empathy, understanding, and clear guidance throughout every stage of their pet’s care.

Dr. Ferreira earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine and completed her clinical training at the University of Wisconsin. She received her undergraduate degree in Exercise Physiology from Florida State University

A Florida native originally from Parkland, Dr. Ferreira recently moved to the Cranford area and is excited to become part of the local community. When she is not in the hospital, she enjoys traveling, working out, binge watching TV shows, and spending time with her two Goldendoodles, Rio and Winnie, and her bunny, CJ.

This past year of 2025, our veterinary team helped 168 pets prepare for international travel, guiding families through complex requirements and ensuring pets were ready to cross borders without delays or surprises. We’re also starting a new tradition of pinning all of the places we send you and your pets that you can view in our clinic!

Most popular destinations included Portugal, South Korea, Dominican Republic, China, Poland, Japan, Spain, Italy, Colombia, Ecuador, and Brazil

Pets traveled to over 30 countries worldwide, across Europe, Asia, South America, and the Caribbean

On average, we assisted 7+ pets every month with international travel documentation

International pet travel is time-sensitive and detail-driven. Our experience helps identify issues early, streamline the process, and give families peace of mind before departure.

We’ve been tossing around the idea of switching to biodegradable pill vials instead of the standard plastic ones. This option would mean less plastic waste in our landfills and oceans, which feels like a step in the right direction for our planet!
Our delaying deciding factor is that they are a bit more expensive than the plastic kind.
