At Cencora, putting people first is a core value we actively live out. One way we support this is through paid volunteer time off, empowering our team members to make a difference in the causes they care about.

Recently, 8 of our teams in Bethlehem, PA, and Olive Branch, MS, came together to assemble Chemo Care Kits for guests at the Hope Lodge in Philadelphia and Memphis. In 2024 alone, our team members volunteered more than 11,000 hours to strengthen and support their communities.

Through the installation of roof solar PV panels and heat-reflective paint in Singapore, we’re reducing our carbon footprint and laying the foundation for a more sustainable future. Additives in the paint reflect the heat from the sun to reduce internal temperature, resulting in lower demand for air conditioning and consequently reducing our electricity consumption.

Take McDowell’s Pharmacy in Scotland Neck, NC, for example. Led by fourth-generation pharmacist Thomas McDowell, this community pharmacy has served its rural neighbors for over a century.
