Pop quiz, Colorado Springs. 🧠

1 in 5 dog owners did no research before bringing their dog home (PDSA PAW Report 2026). No judgment here. Let's see how you do on backyard facts.

1. Dog waste takes about a year or more to break down in your yard.
2. A single gram of dog waste can carry around 23 million f***l coliform bacteria.
3. Roundworm eggs from waste can survive in soil for years.

All three are true, by the way.

The good news: none of these facts live in your yard if the waste doesn't. We handle weekly cleanup so the grass stays green, the kids stay safe, and your weekends stay yours.

Weekly dog waste cleanup from $14.50/week. No contracts, Monday-Friday service, year-round. Fully insured, tools disinfected after every visit, 100% satisfaction guarantee, and estimates back by email within 24 hours.

Got candy? Your yard's got the rest. 🍬🐾 Before the trick-or-treaters arrive this Halloween week, two quick tips from the crew that walks Colorado Springs backyards every week:

• Do a dusk lap of the yard and keep walkways clear, so nobody dodges anything in the dark during costume chaos.
• Keep treats and wrappers up high and the trash lidded: chocolate, xylitol and candy wrappers are no-gos for dogs.

And if the yard itself still needs attention, we've got it. Weekly pet waste removal in Colorado Springs starts at $14.50/week, with no contracts, Monday-Friday service, year-round availability, fully insured pros, tools disinfected after every visit, a 100% satisfaction guarantee, and estimates back by email within 24 hours.

Tick season in Colorado peaks in spring and early summer, but warm fall afternoons still bring them out, and the fence line is exactly where they wait.

Two habits that cost nothing: run your hands through your dog's coat after every backyard trip, and keep the edges of the yard clear, not just the middle. Ticks and fleas favor the tall grass along a fence, the leaf piles nobody rakes, the corner behind the shed.

A clean yard is part of that picture. Waste sitting in the grass draws pests, and it keeps parasites cycling right where your dog plays.

Backyard P**per Scooper handles weekly pet waste removal in Colorado Springs from $14.50/week, no contracts, year-round. We disinfect every tool after each visit, we're fully insured, and every cleanup is backed by our 100% satisfaction guarantee. Estimates usually come back by email within 24 hours.
