White Rose Sanctuary will work closely with law enforcement to ensure the prevention of further animal abuse. MISSION STATEMENT:

tion and saving these innocent animals that have been fought, abused and neglected. We promise every animal they are safe, will finally know love and will have a forever home, not a life in a kennel with a forever home or us, who will be their forever family. We can give any that haven’t found a forever home yet, one that they are treated as family and have a great quality of life, not just a kennel and run. We stand for putting an end to the war, pursue with law enforcement every case of abuse and neglect, while pressing charges, attending court to put a stop to this circle of pain. We want to see a day that we are no longer needed. We fight for these poor babies; we won’t give up no matter how hard and long the battle is.

It's with discouraged hearts that we must share some important news that affects our fostering and adoption program.💔

It has recently come to our attention that all Continental U.S. (CONUS) Military Installations have implemented breed bans.

The policy prohibits dogs of breeds or individual dogs known to demonstrate a propensity for dominant or aggressive behavior.
Specifically listed breeds include Pit Bull (American Staffordshire Bull Terrier or English Staffordshire Bull Terrier), Rottweiler, Doberman Pinscher, Chow, and wolf hybrids. 😓

Due to this restriction, we can no longer accept fosters on military installations if the pup in need falls under this category. 😥

For those living on a military installation who wish to adopt one of these breeds, there are two requirements:

* Register the pup as an Emotional Support Animal (ESA). We can assist you in finding a doctor for an ESA letter.
* Obtain a letter from your installation's housing office stating that the pup has been accepted.

This is a challenging development for us and for many wonderful dogs seeking homes.

We appreciate your understanding and continued support as we navigate these rules.

To our seasoned fosters, who have been a constant source of support through countless pups 🐶, we honestly don't have the words to express how much you mean to us. Your unwavering commitment is the very foundation of our work.🌟
And to our amazing first-time fosters—from Goofy Sylas 🥺 and sweet Kiwi 🥝 to gentle Rose 🌹 and brave Ash 🔥, and from playful Willow 🌿 to the precious trio babies who just arrived ✨—you have stepped up in the most beautiful way. She had her bags packed.
Her tail was wagging.
Her heart was so ready.

But after four months in rescue and just one application… her meet-n-greet fell through. 😢

Now Lucy’s back to waiting—with her favorite toy, her hopeful eyes, and a heart that still believes her person is out there. 💫

⏳ Eight months. That’s how long Gizmo has been stuck in a boarding facility—watching the days pass by, feeling more invisible with each one. The sparkle in his eyes, once so bright and full of longing, is fading. And it’s absolutely heartbreaking. 😞💔

This one’s gonna melt your heart faster than the summer pavement…

Meet Rufus, who came to us from a rural Colorado shelter last summer—scared, unsure, and struggling to trust. We quickly learned, thanks to his loving foster home, that Rufus was reactive around men. It was clear: somewhere along the way, a man had failed to show him kindness. But around here? We don’t give up on dogs... or people.

With commitment and care, Rufus went through not one but two 6-week board-and-train programs and plenty of sessions with a compassionate trainer. And guess what? Love won. 💘

His new family gave Rufus the time, tools, and unwavering support to heal. Today, his dad—is his favorite human in the world. They’re inseparable. Rufus now knows that not all men hurt... some heal. ❤️

From the Kansas kennels to cozy cuddle piles, our boy Milo is officially home—and it’s every bit as magical as he deserves.

This cutie’s got a stubborn streak (classic bully 🐶) and a face that could get away with just about anything—including giving his mama a hard time until the chancla is mentioned 😅👡 But don’t worry—he’s mastered the art of apology kisses. Smooth operator, that one. 💋✨

Milo didn’t just score a family—he handpicked his human brother and said, “Yup, you’re mine.” Their bond? Total heart-squeeze territory. 🥰 Add a wise elder dog to keep him grounded and a sassball kitty who tolerates his antics (barely 😾), and you’ve got a furry sitcom in the making.
