Monday to Friday 6am to 8pm. No reservations needed for daycare. Webcams to watch the fun Google 'how much exercise does a dog need a day'. As with a lot of searches there is no one answer, however the consensus is Puppies, Smalls, Seniors and Giants; 30 - 90 minutes, and Mediums and Larges; 90 - 180 minutes. Dogs play, rest, repeat, and we work with that natural cycle. No group has more than 15 d

ogs. This means multiple groups allowing us to separate dogs by size, temperament and activity level. This also allows our staff to better engage with the dogs. Dogs do not play all day. Quality of play is more important than quantity of play.

Today we say goodbye to someone who’s brought so much heart, positivity, and dedication to our team. Jessica, your kindness, work ethic, and the way you cared for every pup (and human!) around you will be deeply missed.

😎 What a perfect day here at Lucky Dog! The sun is shining, tails are wagging, and our pups are having the best time with their furry friends. We love seeing them so happy! 💕🐾

📅 Just a quick heads-up: We won’t be doing any evaluations from June 30th through July 4th, so if you were planning to get started, let’s find a date that works before or after those days.

⭐️ Fourth of July boarding spots are filling up quickly, so be sure to get your reservations in soon to secure your pup’s spot!

🇺🇸 Our lobby will be CLOSED on Friday, July 4th in observance of Independence Day. We hope you have a safe and happy holiday with your loved ones!

🇺🇸 Hey there Lucky Dog family! With Memorial Day just around the corner, we want to remind everyone that we will not be doing evaluations from Thursday, May 22nd through Tuesday, May 27th. 🌷Spring has most definitely sprung here at Lucky Dog! This beautiful weather has given our pups some wonderful outdoor play time! We appreciate you all being patient with us as we have taken a bit of a social media break, but we are hoping to share pictures with you on a more consistent basis.

It’s never easy to say goodbye, especially to a soul as sweet as Chief. For the past 9 months, he’s filled our days with unconditional love, wagging tails, and that big smile that could brighten anyone’s day. He’s been more than just a dog in our care—he’s become part of our hearts. We’ll miss him dearly, but we’re so grateful for the time we’ve had together. Wishing Chief and his wonderful family all the love, happiness,in the world as they start this next chapter. Safe travels!!!!!! ✈️

🎉 Happy New Year everybody! We are so grateful that we get to bring all of our incredible lucky dogs into this new year and watch them grow in so many ways! We can’t wait to see what 2025 brings us, including old and new furry faces 🐶

🦠❗️Reminder: it’s not only cold and flu season for us humans! This time of year is notorious for coughs and colds in dogs, no matter how much or how little they have been around other pups. If your dog shows any signs of coughing, lethargy, or runny nose, please keep them home until those symptoms subside. The best way we can keep your babies safe is to prevent any sick dogs from entering our facility in the first place. Thank you so much for your understanding!

🎄Well folks, we have finally made it to Christmas week! Our facility is fully booked and fully ready to celebrate with the best pups in town🎄

🎁 Important Reminder: There will be no daycare availability tomorrow. Our lobby will be open from 6am-2pm for boarding drop offs/pickups ONLY. Our lobby will also be closed Christmas Day (don’t worry, our doggie care staff always operates on their normal schedule in the back, so play groups will not change).

Friendly reminder: December 24th, we will be open from 6 AM to 2 PM for boarding drop-offs and pick-ups only. Daycare services will not be available that day. 🐶🐾

Dogs Just Want to Have Fun!

Providing a safe and fun environment for your dog to play and stay. Small play groups, with no more than 15 dogs with plenty of room to play, inside and out. In addition we offer pet grooming, pet supplies, and at our South location, a self-wash and cat boarding. For puppies (10 – 20 weeks) we have free play on Tuesdays and Thursdays. We are open for daycare 6 am - 8 pm Monday to Friday, no reservations needed. We also have web cameras to watch all of the fun!

In 2004 we saw an opportunity to make a difference in dog daycare and boarding in Colorado Springs, we went for it and opened “Lucky Dog Daycare and Boarding, Central“.

We opened “Lucky Dog Daycare and Boarding, South“ in 2006. This larger location allowed room for cat boarding and self-wash.
