š Meet one very special little mama. š
When the Connecticut Humane Society reached out for help, we couldnāt say no to this sweet 8-month-old girl. After giving birth to a litter of kittens, she developed severe mastitis that progressed into a devastating open wound across her abdomen. By the time she arrived, she had a fever of 105° and was incredibly sick.
Since then, she has undergone daily bandage changes, multiple antibiotics, and countless medications. Through it all, Dr. Heather Albino has been by her side almost every single day, guiding her care and loving her as if she were her own. ā¤ļø
Because she became so ill, she could no longer care for her babies, who are now just over three weeks old and being lovingly bottle-fed.
Despite everything she has endured, this tiny girl remains one of the sweetest, most affectionate cats weāve ever met. She purrs, snuggles, and melts hearts wherever she goes.
Her journey isnāt over yet, but she has come so far, and now we are hoping to help her find the soft landing she deservesāa forever home filled with love, comfort, and kindness.
Thank you to the Connecticut Humane Society for trusting us with her care, and a special thank you to Dr. Albino and our amazing team for pouring so much love into this little fighter. š©·
Please help us share her story. Somewhere out there is the perfect family waiting for this brave mama. š¾
