The Galactic Republic (our rescue) has successfully socialized two incredible, happy-go-lucky Padawans from the Star Wars litter. At 9 weeks old, these gorgeous black lab mixes have completed their initial training and are ready to jump to hyperspace into their forever homes!

🌟 SABINE (Female)

The Rebel Leader: Named after the fierce Mandalorian warrior, this little girl is a stunning black beauty with a spark of pure joy.

Her Force Powers: Tail-wagging at lightspeed, expert cuddling, and a highly social personality that wins over every creature in the galaxy.

Her Mission: Finding a co-pilot who loves playtime, outdoor exploration, and plenty of affection.

🟢 YODA (Male)

The Grand Master: Do or do not, there is no try—and Yoda definitely does bring the happiness! He is a handsome, joyful boy who loves everyone he meets.

His Force Powers: Spreading absolute bliss wherever he waddles, master level sleeping, and a happy-go-lucky vibe that can melt even a Sith Lord’s heart.

His Mission: Securing a forever home where he can grow big, strong, and wise by your side.

🏔️ What to Expect with a "Berner"

Bernese Mountain Dogs are famous for their wonderful temperaments, but their owners need to be prepared for the full Berner experience:

The "Berner Lean": Bear will likely lean his entire 71-pound body against your legs to show affection. It is his way of giving a hug!

A Weatherproof Coat: He features a thick double coat built for Swiss winters. He will thrive in the cold but needs plenty of air conditioning and shade during hot summer days.

The "Glitter" (Shedding): Expect year-round shedding and heavy blowing of his undercoat twice a year. Investing in a great vacuum cleaner is highly recommended.

🏫 Life Skills Under Construction

Because Bear spent his early years in a mill, he is a bit behind on his indoor manners. He is looking for a patient family ready to help him navigate his new life.

Potty Training: Assume he knows nothing! Consider it a fun bonding experiment where you both celebrate every successful backyard trip like you won the lottery.

Continuing Education: He needs a family dedicated to showing him the ropes, from leash walking to discovering the magic of toys.

Are you looking for a professional napper with a heart of gold? Hannah is an 11-year-young Border Collie mix who proves that age is just a number and she's put her "curvy" lifestyle in the past!

Currently weighing in at about 50 lbs. When she first came to TRI, she was 67 lbs. Hannah went on a dedicated fitness journey and got back to her svelte self. But don’t let the diet fool you—she’s got plenty of "s***k" left in her step!
