Meet Baron! Baron joined TRI in late July from a mill breeder. He is a red cavalier born 8/8/2023 - so just turned 2 years old! Baron weighs 15.8 pounds and is working hard on adjusting to life as a cherished pet in a home!

Baron has been socializing with humans of all ages and sizes. He does very well with children. Baron is dog friendly and in fact would probably thrive in a home with other animals that can continue to teach him how to be a dog. Baron is not fully potty trained and will need a family that is patient and consistent in teaching him. He lived in a barn prior to TRI so he needs grace in the gift of time so he too can learn to potty outside. Baron also was never crated until he came to TRI, so he's learning crate training. Baron does great loose with other dogs, but crate training is always important because there are times when dogs need to be crate for grooming appointments, vet visits, etc.

Baron is a cavalier so an adopter will need to have him groomed regularly.

If you are interested in learning more about Baron, do two things: (1) complete an adoption application using a computer (not a phone/tablet) here: https://therescueinn.com/adoption-application.html AND (2) email [email protected] after you've completed your app. Your email will be forwarded to Baron's adoption consultant.

So....this happened yesterday! We welcome Pip into TRI. Our rescue partners are amazing and it takes a village to save each and every soul. Pip will be in foster care for at least the next four weeks as she's way too young for adoption. She will get the proper vet care, socialization and love to be the best pup she can be despite how her original human or humans failed her. Donations for Pip's vetting (exam, shots, deworming, chip, eventual spay, etc) are always much appreciated. Venmo to , PayPal to [email protected], checks made payable to The Rescue Inn (PO Box 246, North Olmsted, OH 44070) or we have a donate button on our FB page and website. Much love to all.
