Kira is still looking for her forever home. Mantua OH
She’s a 2 year old spayed female. Shes a very insecure gal who has been bounced around through no fault of her own, and then became extremely possessive/reactive with her last owners when she finally got some stability. Which is why she was surrendered to me.
She needs someone who can get her out and about and continue to build her confidence and be consistent with her. She is such a sweet goober who has no problem with new places or situations and is easily handled, it’s just new people that make her nervous. She is getting to be very nice on a leash, does well with most dogs, but needs a home without small dogs or animals.
Shes trained on a slatmill and LOVES it, she will jump up and sit on it then wait if you don’t block it off 🤣
Once she’s comfortable with you, you can do anything to her and she has zero cares. she hops on a table or in a tub and does great for the dryer and dremel for her nails. She crates well, settles well, and is overall a very nice “easy” dog if you’re in her circle of trust.
This sweet girl has SO much potential, so would love to find her the right person that can take her there to be the amazing dog I know is in there. Unfortunately I spent most of the summer in the hospital and recovering, and I just don’t have the time, energy, or stamina to get her to a point where just anyone could adopt her. We’ve started back doing some training the last couple weeks and she takes SO well to it but needs so much more than i can give her here and I so want her to meet per potential instead of just continuing to idle here.
