There’s a new (human) face at Wagnolia, meet Alexia - Wagnolia’s new Practice Manager! 💜

Growing up surrounded by big dogs (especially pitties!) sparked a love for animals that never left. In fact, her childhood dream was to work in animal welfare — and today, she’s one of the lucky ones living that dream every single day! 🐶 🐱 🐾

Alexia has a special place in her heart for all creatures (even the creepy crawlers 🐛), but if you ask her, she’ll always have a soft spot for the big dogs…do you blame her??

We’re so excited to have her at Wagnolia, and she can’t wait to meet all of you - our amazing Wagnolia friends (and maybe sneak a few extra treats to your babies along the way)!

Happy Veterinary Receptionist Week! 🎉

At Wagnolia, we’re so lucky to have Karina (aka KT) and Michelle leading the way as our incredible Client Care Coordinators. They’re the first voices you hear on the phone, the first smiles you see when you walk through our doors, and the behind-the-scenes magic that keeps everything running smoothly. ✨

From alerting our team to client needs to communicating with compassion and care, they make sure every pet (and person!) feels supported and welcomed.

We couldn’t do what we do without them - thank you, Karina and Michelle! 🐾

Loki had his first visit to Wagnolia for our rabies amnesty program - and ended up getting fully updated on his distemper, parvo, parainfluenza, hepatitis AND leptospirosis vaccines (the all-in-1 combo)! 🐾 Just 2 easy pokes for some big-time wellness and prevention!
At 10 years young, Loki’s still susceptible to these diseases, but he’s staying safe and healthy thanks to his paw-some parent and the Wagnolia team!
He’ll be back in a few weeks to booster his leptospirosis, and we can’t wait to see this little dude again! 💙
Loki was a little nervous at first, but a little cheese and a gentle hug from vet tech Karina did the trick (doesn’t it always??)! 🧀🐶

For todays post with Harley pics from Sam’s email:

Harley came in to Wagnolia for a routine dental, and everything looked great…at first! From the outside, his teeth appeared totally healthy (swipe to see 📸), but thanks to dental radiographs, we discovered a hidden problem - his lower left canine was reabsorbing under the gumline, meaning it had to go!

After a smooth extraction and some tiny sutures, Harley is all set for a pain-free smile. He’s now resting up in our Vet Tech Sam’s arms, rocking his recovery cone like a champ. 🩵🐾

This is why dental X-rays are so important, some issues can’t be seen with the naked eye! Regular dental care keeps our pets happy, healthy, and comfortable.

Meet Moon 🌙 💓

Moon came to us today because she was vomiting and not eating. Wagnolia helped her feel better right away while we got to work figuring out why this was happening and treating accordingly!

Vomiting in cats is often thought to be normal - like “cats just vomit sometimes” - but, just like us, they vomit for a reason and need treatment for it.

Moon’s mom is amazing and committed to finding out what’s going on so Moon can feel comfortable!
