What, is there something on my face?👀😋 Duckie is enjoying some tasty peanut butter during her acupuncture treatment today.

People often ask us how dogs tolerate acupuncture. While most pets hardly notice, snacks and cuddles can be a great distraction during needle placement!🦴🥰🐾

Our March Patient of the Month brings a big ray of sunshine everywhere he goes—just in time for spring! Meet Jack☀️

Jack joined the IPC family at around 10-11 years old, after his mom noticed he was slowing down and feeling uncomfortable. Since starting therapy with his care team at IPC, Jack has gone from dragging his paws to trotting down the sidewalk. He’s a gentle and sweet boy with a lovable personality and we’re so proud of all of his progress!

We have a very exciting milestone to share this week—it is our rehabilitation therapist Doris’ ✨20-YEAR✨ Anniversary as a member of the IPC team!💕🎉

Doris has been an integral part of IPC since our founding in 2005. Since then, Doris has worked with countless patients to help them improve mobility, feel comfortable, and live their best lives overall. She is an absolute joy to have in the clinic, bringing laughter and a warm presence with her everywhere she goes.

Our Valentine this February is extra sweet—meet our Patient of the Month, Niko!💘

During her younger years, Niko was an active pup who loved to work and do everything with her family. Now, at almost 15 years old, Niko may have slowed down, but her level of determination hasn’t changed a bit. Since starting therapy at IPC for her arthritis and other age-related issues, Niko is feeling comfortable and happy, and still enjoys plenty of fun and quality time with her family.

Our January Patient of the Month is a fun and sassy girl who is always on the go—meet Rosie!💖

Rosie’s mom brought her to IPC before and after a surgery to treat her knee condition. Rosie’s hard work with therapy ensured that she would make a quick recovery after surgery! However, a few months later she returned to IPC to address some new issues in her back. Since starting her therapies, Rosie is now as strong and fast as ever! You might see her in the lobby before her sessions running circles around her favorite PSC, Camille. This girl is so much fun and all of us at IPC just love her!

Don’t be fooled by this sweet boy’s shy personality, he’s one of the toughest pups we know! Meet our December Patient of the Month, Brodie. 🖤🎾🤍

Brodie’s journey to recovery following an emergency spinal surgery was not an easy one. Despite having gone through a months-long recovery process, on his first day at IPC, he was underweight and unable to walk. But Brodie never lost his determination! Within a few months he was back on his feet, and today he zooms around the neighborhood and fills his home with the sweet sound of his little tippy-taps. 🥰

Our Story

Integrative Pet Care is a specialty veterinary center in Chicago, dedicated exclusively to the physical rehabilitation needs of your pet. Our services include hydrotherapy, therapeutic laser, veterinary acupuncture, exercise, shockwave, massage and more. Our highly qualified and certified rehab team can assist in recovery from surgery or injury, loss of mobility, weakness or pain. If you have a canine athlete in the family, we will create a sport specific conditioning plan that focuses on strength and performance, while reducing the risk of injury. Some in-home rehab services available, please contact us for more information. We work closely with pet owners and their referring veterinarians to improve each pet’s quality of life.
