Our September Patient of the Month is a big personality on short legs—meet Dr. Watson!🎾🕵️🦴

Dr. Watson started his rehabilitation journey at IPC about two years ago, when he developed a limp that wouldn’t go away. After initially starting therapy to treat his leg, Dr. Watson’s care team at IPC discovered an underlying condition causing tension in his spine. After some further diagnostics and adjustments to his treatment plan, Dr. Watson was ready to put in the work!

This month we are celebrating a long-time member of the IPC family. Meet our August Patient of the Month, Bella! 💝

Bella started her rehabilitation journey at IPC 4 years ago. Her family brought her in for treatment for elbow dysplasia and arthritis, thinking they would be simply helping her stay comfortable in her old age. Years later, Bella is still keeping up with her canine siblings and making fun memories with her family.

This month, we have not one, not two, but ✨three✨ Patients of the Month! It is a very special trio of siblings—meet Joey, Mona, and Lucy!

Joey joined the IPC family a few years ago to help with some tension he was experiencing in his back. After seeing improvements in Joey’s quality of life, his parents decided to bring Lucy to IPC, as well as Mona shortly after. Because of the pups’ hard work, and the commitment of their parents, all three had improvements in their mobility and comfort.

Our Story

Integrative Pet Care is a specialty veterinary center in Chicago, dedicated exclusively to the physical rehabilitation needs of your pet. Our services include hydrotherapy, therapeutic laser, veterinary acupuncture, exercise, shockwave, massage and more. Our highly qualified and certified rehab team can assist in recovery from surgery or injury, loss of mobility, weakness or pain. If you have a canine athlete in the family, we will create a sport specific conditioning plan that focuses on strength and performance, while reducing the risk of injury. Some in-home rehab services available, please contact us for more information. We work closely with pet owners and their referring veterinarians to improve each pet’s quality of life.
