Little Miss Gigi came in last week for her first annual Heartworm Test!💉💖

The Heartworm Tests done at Wrigleyville Vet screen for Heartworm disease and 3 tick diseases (Ehrlichia, Lyme, and Anaplasma). It is recommended to have this done at 7 months old, then once a year afterwards, to confirm your pup is routinely testing negative for these diseases.

Heartworm disease is transmitted by infected mosquitos - and we know they’re going to be everywhere with this warmer weather!🦟
