🔹 3 Weeks — Learning the Routine

🐾 Meet Dawson — Our Smiling, Long-Time Shelter Buddy! 🖤🤍

Just look at that face! Dawson has been lighting up Sylacauga Animal Shelter since March 13, 2023, and he’s more than ready for his forever family. He is a 4–5 year-old neutered Lab mix, heartworm negative, fully vaccinated, and full of love to give.

Dawson came to S.A.S with his mom and siblings.
✨ His brother Dover made his way to a rescue in New Jersey.
✨ His sister Darla headed to a rescue in New York.
✨ His mom was adopted right from Sylacauga Animal Shelter.

Now sweet Dawson is the last one still waiting.

He even tried a foster-to-adopt home, but it wasn’t the right match. What Dawson truly needs is a home where he can soak up plenty of attention and feel secure.

Here’s what makes Dawson amazing:
