•rescue animals, primarily canines, from situations that are abusive, endangering and neglectful,
•provide necessary veterinary care and spaying/neutering,

These pups desperately need a new home! They were found in a drainage ditch in White Plains, Alabama. The lady who has them cannot keep them. The vet thinks they’re about 3 1/2 to 4 months old. Let me know if you are interested and I will put you in touch with her!

Meet Zola!! She is a beautiful 2.5 yo female that was rescued off the streets. She is UTD on shots, spayed, and is now ready to find her furever home! She is great with all people and animals and would do best in a home with an active family and backyard. She is crate trained and has been doing well with her house training lately. Meet Frank!

Frank is estimated to be a 1.5 year old pittie mix. Unfortunately, he was pushed out of a truck at a Birmingham shopping center parking lot and left there as his owners drove away. A kind Samaritan witnessed the act and put Frank in her car and brought her home. We don’t know why someone would do this but we will consider it their loss and our gain. Frank has a goofy yet well mannered personality and loves people. He can be a little timid of men at first but his foster parents are working with him and he’s doing great. He is submissive to the little dog he lives with as well as two adult cats and a one pound foster kitten. He does get excited and may wiggle into you but does great around little kids. It’s as if he knows he has to be extra gentle with them. He is neutered, UTD and on preventative.

**Up For Adoption**

Meet Frank!

Frank was dumped in a Birmingham shopping center parking lot. Shoppers witnessed him being pushed out of a truck and left there as his owners drove away. Fortunately, a kind Samaritan put him in her car and took him home.

We’re not sure why these owners decided to dump a pup with such a goofy and well mannered personality, but we’ll consider it their loss and our gain. He is submissive to the small dog he’s living with as well as the two other adult cats and foster kitten. He can be a little timid of men but the foster parents are working with him and he’s doing great. He does get excited when around people but surprisingly does so well with little kids. It’s like he knows he needs to be extra gentle. He has been neutered, is UTD and on preventive.

**Up For Adoption**

Mercedes is now a six week old female kitten who was found approximately three weeks ago in a dumpster at the Mercedes plant. She LOVES people and wants to cuddle all the time. She will stand her ground with dogs but as long as they tolerate her and she trusts them, she will become friends with them. She is UTD and will be spayed when old enough.

UPDATE: family was found but they no longer want these precious pups. They are currently at the shelter!

These 2 pups were found on Walker Way in the Stonehaven neighborhood in Pelham this morning. They have been taken to the Columbiana shelter by the person who found them. They are sweet and well cared for, and obviously their owners will be missing them terribly! Unfortunately, their collars have outdated information, and they are not chipped. Please help to reunite them with their family!

Description: Large brown retriever mix. EXTREMELY sweet but is likely scared and skittish. She slipped out of her collar so she had no ID on her. It’s raining and getting very cold. Please help.
