"Bonnie is the second dog we rescued from BROOD. First came Clementine in July 2013, and then Bonnie followed in August 2016. Bonnie's incredibly sweet nature and her little fancy basset paws won over the staff at the shelter where she unfortunately found herself. Luckily, she made her way to us with the help of BROOD and became the best of friends with Clementine. We lost Clementine in July 2023, but Bonnie still thrives. Despite her intense hatred of anything wet or cold, she fooled us all with her pure joy of playing on the beach in OBX"
